Carl L. Blessing, 56, of Shady
Lane Trailer Park, 8000 Porter
Road, died Wednesday (March
1, 1972) at Mount St. Mary's
Hospital, Lewiston, after a
long illness.
He had been employed in
cost accounting at Union
Carbide Corp. for more than 25
years before retiring fives
years ago.
Survivors include his
widow, Helen; a son, Carlie of
North Tonawanda; a daughter,
Mrs. Victor (Crystal) Szarejko
of. Woburn, Mass.; two
brothers, Paul of Corpus
Christi, Texas; and Christy of
this city and, a sister, Mrs.
Caroline MacPherson of
Lewiston.
Friends may call from 7 to 9
p.m. today at the Cooper
Funeral Home, 8028 Buffalo
Ave., where private services
will be held at 11:30 a.m.
Friday. .
The Rev. Ray K. Hallin will
officiate.

Mrs. Caroline Blessing, 513 100th
street, a resident of Niagara Falls
for 61 years, died yesterday at her
home after a brief illness.
A native of Germany, Mrs. Bless
ing came to Niagara Falls in 1890
and resided here until her death. She
was an active life member of Rose
bud Rebekah Lodge 20 lOOF.
She is survived by her husband,
John Blessing: three sons and three
daughters, Paul. Carl and Cristy W.
Blessing and Mrs. Caroline Mac
Pherson, all of this city, Mrs. Amelia
Torre, St. Cloud, Minn, and Mrs.
Anna Pack, Williamsville, Two sisters,
Mrs. Pauline Price, Williams
ville, Mrs. Annie Gadke,, Clifford,
Ont, 11 grandchildren and 'three
great grandchildren. also survive.
Funeral services will be held at
Cobler's Funeral home tomorrow at
2 p. m. with'the Rev. Ray K. Hallin
officiating. Interment will be in Oak
wood, cemetery.
