Norman Strough Dies Here at 44
Funeral services for Norman W. Strough 44, of 3931 McKoon Ave.,will be held Monday at the Gridley Funeral Home, The Rev. Aldin (sp.) Burnswill officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Mr. Strough died last night in Memorial Hospital after a long illness. A native of Tonawanda, he had resided here for the last 23 years. He was terminal manager of the Sherks Trucking Lines, Buffalo. He was a member of the Buffalo Traffic Club, the Niagara Falls Transportation Club and LaSalle Lodge 1049 F&AM, and was an ensign in the Merchant Marine, 1943-45. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Helen P. Strough; a son N. Thomas Strough; a daughter, Gretchen M. Strough; his parents Mr. and Mrs. William Strough, Tonawanda, three sisters, Mrs. Ralph Tingue, Tonawanda and Mrs. G. Schultz and Mrs. John Kaiser, both of North Tonawanda and three brothers, William and LeRoy Strough, both of Tonawanda and Franklyn Strough, North Tonawanda

NIAGARA FALLS - Helen S. Haseley, 61, of 98 67th St., died Friday (Nov. 28, 1975) at St. Mary's Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born in this city, she had been a resident of this city all her life. She had been employed at the National Lead Corp., and at the LaSalle Yacht Club, as an accountant. She was a member of St. Paul's Calvary Lutheran Church and, the Ladies Aid Society at the church. She was formerly a member of the Eastern Star, of the the Golden Agers Club and of LaSalle Yacht Club Bridge Club. Survivors include her husband, Herman G. Haseley of this city; a son, Norman Thomas Strough of Buffalo; a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Gretchen) Hunt of Camillus, N.Y., four grandchildren and two aunts. There will be no prior visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Calvary Lutheran Church or the Lutheran World Hunger Fund in care of St. Paul's Calvary Lutheran Church. A memorial service will held Saturday, Dec. 6, at 2 p.m at St. Paul's Calvary Lutheran Church. A private burial will be made at the convenience of the family.
