    Mr. and Mrs. Russell Blodgett of
    Cooperstown announce the engagement
    of their daughter, Ann Que
    Blodgett, to Graham A. Brown, son
    of Mr. and Mrs. Earle A. Brown of
    Pittsburgh, Pa.
    Miss Blodgett graduated from Cornell
    University in 1955 and is now
    associated with Public Service of
    New Jersey in Newark
    Mr. Brown graduated from Cornell
    in 1951. He is a member of Beta
    Theta Pi fraternity. During the
    Korean War, he served with the 45th
    Division. He is now with the Jones
    and Laughlin Steel Company in New
    York City.
    The marriage ceremony will take
    place at the First Presbyterian
    Chuch here on Saturday, September
    24.

    The marriage of Miss Ann Que
    Blodgett, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
    Russell Blodgett of this village, to
    Graham A. Brown, son of Mr. and
    Mrs. Earle A. Brown of Pittsburgh,
    Pa., was solemnized at 4 o'clock Saturday
    afternoon in the First Presbyterian
    Church here. The Rev.
    Walter R. Craig, pastor of the
    church, performed the ceremony.
    Mrs. Arnold C. Harwood was at
    the church organ.
    The bride, given in marriage by
    her father, chose for her wedding a
    waltz-length gown of peau de soie
    with chantilly applique and fingertip
    veil of silk illusion, and headdress
    shirred with orange blossoms.
    She carried a bouquet of white roses
    and pom-pons.
    She had as her maid of honor Miss
    Janet Lepard of Ann Arbor, Mich.,
    and Miss Barbara L. Brown of New
    York City, sister of the groom was
    bridesmaid.
    Miss Lepard wore a gown of muted
    rose peau de soie and a headband of
    white flowers. Her bouquet was of
    white roses, pom-pons and carnations.
    Miss Brown wore a similar -gown
    and headband, and her flowers were
    pom-pons and carnations.
    The bride's mother chose a navy
    blue silk dress with a white gardenia
    corsage, while Mr. Brown's mother
    wore a dress of royal blue wool,
    also with a corsage of white Gardenias.
    Edward H. Strieker of Pittsburgh
    was Mr. Brown's best man.
    Mrs. Brown is a graduate of
    Cooperstown Central School, and received
    her Bachelor of Science degree
    in Home Economics from Cornell
    University last June. Since that
    time she has been a home economics
    advisor with Public Service of New
    Jersey in Newark.
    Her husband is a graduate of Cornell
    University, and is a sales representative
    with the Jones and Laughlin ;
    Steel Corporation in New York City.
    Following the ceremony, a reception
    for 150 guests was held at the home
    of the bride's parents on Nelson
    Avenue, after which the couple left
    for a wedding trip through the
    Laurentians in Canada. They will
    make their home in East Orange,
    N. J. on their return.
