Barbara Jean McFarland, age 71 of Niagara Falls, NY was called to her heavenly home on March 27, 2015, while at the Niagara Hospice House in Lockport. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, on February 20, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Louise (Glasnip) Whitcomb. Barbara enjoyed playing Bingo and was employed at the old LaHacienda Restaurant.

Survivors include a brother and four sisters, Dorothy (decd. Henry) Schiro, Charlene (Duane) Clive, Norman (decd. Carol) Whitcomb, Nancy (Herbie) Schinabeck and Linda Whitcomb; sister in law, Delores Whitcomb; brother in law, Albert Evans; and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her husband in 2004, Terry McFarland; three brothers, Donny, Bobby and Richard Whitcomb Sr.; and two sisters, Marsha Whitcomb and Shirley Evans.

Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday April 4th at 3:00 P.M. in the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield, with the Rev. Michael A. Keicher, officiating. Inurnment will take place in Riverdale Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
