    Edwin DuBois Was General Abrasives Electrician
    Funeral services will be held Monday for Edwin DuBois of the Town of Niagara, who died Friday (Dec. 27, 1985) in Roswell Park Memorial Institute in Buffalo. He was 71. An electrician at General Abrasives in Niagara Falls for 45 years, Mr. DuBois was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. He is survived by his wife, the former Lillian DeVantier, one daughter, Mrs. Gerard (Judy) Baribeau of Toronto, and three sons, Grant and his wife, Mary, of Lake Forest, Ill., Glenn, of the Town of Niagara, and Mark, of Logan, Utah. He is also survived by three sisters and three brothers, Ruth Hassin (sic-sp) and Arthur DuBois, both of Wheatfield, Mrs. Herbert (Eleanor) Wienke of the Town of Niagara, Walter DuBois of Niagara Falls, and Elizabeth Heuer and Herbert DuBois, both of Wheatfield. He is also survived by four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister, Minnie Camann and one brother, William. Friends may call at the Hamp Funeral Home, Adam and Seymour streets, Tonawanda, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9p.m. today. Services are at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Walmore Road, Wheatfield, with Rev. Herbert R. Maxwell officiating. Interment will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran School. Funeral arrangements are by the DuBois Funeral Home.

    Lillian H. DuBois, age 96 of the Town of Niagara, was called to her heavenly home on March 25 at Mount St. Mary's Hospital after a brief illness. Daughter of Adolph and Hulda (Beutel) DeVantier. Predeceased by her husband, Edwin DuBois on December 27, 1985. Lillian was a lifelong member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Walmore, and an active member of the quilting group. She also served as a Town of Niagara Election Inspector for 40 years. Surviving are four children, Judy (Gerard) Baribeau of Toronto, ON, Grant (Mary) DuBois of Atlanta, GA, Glenn (Carolyn) DuBois of Niagara Falls and Mark (Diana) DuBois of Elko, NV; a sister, Edna Walck of Sanborn; seven grandchildren, Kari (Todd) Birchfield, Jenna (Chris) Tenaglia, Lilyanne DuBois, Katherine (Taylor) Housworth, David, Jonathan and Anna DuBois; two great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Also predeceased by a brother, Bert DeVantier. Visitation will be on Thursday, March 31 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Kenneth Corky Spitler, on Friday, April 1 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 6168 Walmore Road, Wheatfield. Interment in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.

    Mrs. DuBois Dies at 76 In Hospital
    WHEATFIELD-Mrs. Anna Christine DuBois, 2363 Niagara Road, a lifelong resident here, died today (March 6, 1965) at Niagara Falls Memorial Hospital after a short illness. She Was 76.
    She was a member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church and the Lutheran Women's Missionary League.
    Surviving are five sons, Arthur and Herbert DuBois, of the Town of Wheatfield, Edwin DuBois, Town of Niagara, and William A. and Walter E. DuBois, both of Niagara Falls; three daughters. Mrs. Herbert (Eleanor) Wienke, Mrs. Leonard (Ruth) Hassen and Mrs. Arthur (Elizabeth) Heuer, all of Wheatfield; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Haseley, Town of Lewiston, Mrs. Rosina Milleville of Wheatfield; 21 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
    Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Fretthold Funeral Home, 1241 Oliver St., North Tonawanda and at 2:30 p.m. at Holy Ghost Lutheran Church by Rev. Albert Bahr, pastor. Burial will be in Holy Ghost Lutheran Cemetery.
    The family said that contributions to the Holy Ghost Lutheran Church building fund are acceptable as tribute.

    Adolph DeVantier
    Adolph DeVantier, 87, of 9811 Lockport Road, died today (June 24, 1977) in Mount St. Mary's Hospital after a lengthy illness.
    A lifelong resident of the Town of Niagara, he was a blacksmith throughout Western New York for over 60 years, prior to retiring in 1965.
    He had served as the Town of Niagara Justice of the Peace and as a trustee of the Niagara District No. 2 School. He was an exempt member of the Niagara Fire Co. No.1 and a member of the Brotherhood of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
    He had celebrated his 60th wedding anniversary April 22, 1977.
    Survivors include his wife, Hulda Beutel DeVantier, a son, Bert of this community; two daughters, Mrs. Hugo (Lillian) Walck of the Town of Wheatfield and Mrs. Edwin (Edna) DuBois of this community; a sister, Mrs. Philip (Rose) Walck, Town of Wheatfield; eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Walmore, with the Rev. Paul F. Wittenberg officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at the Rhoney Funeral Home, Sanborn, from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday.
