The bride. Miss Jean Carol
Pearson, chose a navy blue suit
with white accessories and a corsage
of white rosebuds and camellias,
for her wedding to John Alan
Boots, Saturday, in the Chapel of
Plymouth Congregational Church
on East Avenue. The Rev. Darren
J. Westlake, performed the
ceremony before an altar decorated
with baskets of mixed Spring
flowers. Miss Jean Gimbel of Gasport
played the nuptial music.
Miss Pearson Is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs, Hathaway O. Pearsen,
180 Pound St., and the groom
It the son of Mr. and Mrs. John
Boots, of the Saunders Settlement
Road, Lockport.
The attendants were Mr. and
Mrs. Orven w. Boots, and the ushers
were Charles Pearson and
John Bloom.
A reception followed the ceremony
at the home of the bride's
parents, where a buffet supper was
served from a table centered with
a bride's cake encircled with pink
carnations.
The couple plans to make their
home at 227 Washburn St.

Mrs. Hannah Boots, 66, longtime
resident of this area, died
Friday evening at her home,
Saunders Settlement, RD 2 Lockport.
She was born in England,
April 21, 1887, but came to Niagara
County when quite young.
Mrs. Boots leaves her husband.
John W Boots, and 11 children
from two marriages Mrs. May
Hunt, who lives In England; Mrs.
Winifred Ryan. Hubert Bloom.
Gordon Bloom, Mrs. Lydia Mulr,
Orven Boots, and John Allen Boots,
Lockport; Robert Bloom, Cameron
Mills, N.Y.; George Bloom, a
Pennsylvania resident; Mrs. Edna
M a d d i n g , Buffalo; and Mrs
Josephine Maines. a resident of
Virginia.
Mrs. Boots had 39 grandchildren
and nine great grandchildren.
She was a member of the Past
Pocahontas Club, the Foresters,
the Eagles Auxiliary and American
Legion Auxiliary
Funeral services have been set
at 2 p.m. Monday afternoon at
the Clemens O. Gaul Funeral
Home. Burial will be in Cold
Springs Cemetery.

Charles married Effie about 1890. Effie was born about 1871 in PA; died on 5 Mar 1945 in Lockport Memorial Hospital, Lockport, Niagara County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

Effle Boots Harrington died Monday,
March 5, 1945 at the Lockport
City Hospital. She is survived by two
daughters and five sons. Mrs. Louise
Floyd, John William Boots. Mrs.
Merle Melcher, Charles Joseph
Boots, George William Boots, Lockport,
Fred H. Boots and James E.
Boots, Erie, Pa also forty-seven,
grandchildren, twenty-nine great-
grandchildren.
Friends are invited to call at the
Clemens O. Gau funeral home, 263
East Ave., from where the funeral
will be Wednesday, March 7 at 2:30.
Interment Cold Springs Cemetery.
