GLOVERSVILLE- A r t h ur
Bloor, 72, of 34 Maple avenue,
died Saturday night at his home
after several months of falling
health.
BORN IN ENGLAND, he had
been a Gloversville resident for
the past 30 years and previously
lived in Sidney. He retired two
years ago after being employed
for several years by the Iva
Knitting Co.
Survivors are a son, Edward
Bloor of Gloversville; a brother,
Walter Bloor of Fredonla; two
grandchildren and two nieces.
Services will be held at 9:30
a.m. Wednesday at the Hollenbeck
funeral home. Rev. Winston
A. Saunders of North Main
Street Methodist Church will officiate.
Interment will be In
Prospefct Hill cemetery, Sidney.

Mrs. Arthur Bloor, 67, of 34
Maple Avenue, died this morning
at 440 in Littauer Hospital where
she had been a patient since Sunday.
She had been ill seven months.
Mrs. Bloor was born In Ilkeston,
Derbyshire, England, but came to
this country In 1909. She settled In
Sidney, N. Y.. and in 1930 came to
Gloversville.
The survivors sre her husband:
a son. Edward of Gloversville; a
hi other Joseph Bird of Ilkeston, a
grandson and a granddaughter.
The funeral will be held Thursday
Afternoon at 2 in the Eugene
Hollenheck Jr.. Funeral Home, 4
Second Avenue. The Rev. C. L
Schaertel of St. James Lutheran
Church will officiate.
The body will be placed In the
vault in Fern Dale Cemetery for
burial in Sidney in the spring.

Mrs. Emma E Bloor. 87, In very
good health until the past few
weeks, died at 9 last night In the
Dollof-Alta Nursing Home.
She was born in Melbourne, England,
and had lived In Washington,
D. C, for many years. She came
to Gloversville last summer.
Survivors include three sons, Ar-
thur of Gloversville, Walter of Fre-
donia and Edward of Tonawanda;
also three grandchildren and six
great grandchildren.
