A member of the Royalton Town
Board, Charles H. Bower, 75, of the
Riddle Road, died at 5 o'clock this
morning in Lockport City Hospital
after an illness of two months.
Mr. Bower was a town councilman
and former peace Justice. He
had been on the town board 10
years.
Born in Royalton, Mr. Bower
spent most of his life in farming in
the Riddle Road. At one time he
operated a threshing machine with
which he threshed grain for many
farmers of Niagara County.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lottie
Bower: a son, Raymond Bower,
Royalton; two grandchildren, and
two sisters, Mrs. Kate Cook and
Mrs. May Claude, of this vicinity.
Services will be held Sunday at
2:30 at the family home. Burial will
be in Chestnut Ridge Cemetery.

Charles married BLOSSER, Lottie C about 1894. Lottie (daughter of BLOSSER, Chauncey and GOSS, Caroline) was born on 19 Sep 1874 in Town of Royalton, Niagara County, NY; died on 13 Jun 1967 in Albion, Orleans County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

ROYALTON-Mrs. Lottie C. Bower, widow of
Charles H. Bower who died several years ago, and a
former resident of Riddle Road; is dead at the age
of 92. She died (June 13, 1967) at Rose Villa Nursing
Home, Albion.
Born in Royalton, in September
1874, she was the daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Chauncey
Blosser.
The mother of the late Raymond
N. Bower,, she is survived
by a daughter-in-law,
Mrs. Doris M. Bower of Albion;
two grandchildren, Mrs.
Edward (Helen) McGuire, Newfane,
and Earl Bower of Albion;
a sister and a brother,
Mrs. Lillie Van Buren and
Buri Blosser, both Town of
Royalton; several nieces and
nephews and five great grandchildren.
Beginning Wednesday, friends
may visit from 2 to 4 and 7 to
9 p.m. at Prudden and Kandt
Funeral Home, where funeral
services will be held Thursday
at 11 a.m. Burial will be in
Chestnut Ridge Cemetery.

at the home of his daughter, Mrs.
Fred Van Buren, Riddle road.

Holenbeck. Newstead, Mrs. Fred
Van Buren, Mrs. Charles Bower, Mrs.
Lillie Van Buren and one sen. Bert

the home of Mrs. Fred Van Buren.

passed away at her home. Town of
Royalton, Tuesday, June 21, 1927.
aged 82 years. She leaves to mourn
her loss her husband, one son, Bart
Blosser of Town of Royalton, and
five daughters, Mrs, Emma Stannard
of Lockport. Mrs Oliver Hollenbach.
Mrs. Fred Van Buren, Mrs. Chart's
Bower and Mrs. Lillie Van Buren, all
of Royalton.
The funeral will take place at the
home Friday at two o clock stan-
dard time. Interment in Chestnut
Ridge cemetery
