    Leonard E. Goldstein, 68, of
    2035 Delaware Ave., assistant
    manager of I. Miller Inc., which
    operates the shoe department of
    L. L. Berger Inc., died yesterday
    at Buffalo General ^Hospital. He
    suffered a heart attack Monday.
    Born in Titusville, Pa., Mr.
    Goldstein was brought to Buffalo
    as a child. He had been connected
    with the shoe department of the
    Berger store for 27 years.
    Previously he was for many
    years with the K. W. Watters
    Shoe Store, at Main and Mohawk.
    Surviving are his wife, the former
    Minnie Bluestein; a son,
    Erwin of Rochester, and a sister,
    Mrs. Belle White.
    Funeral services will be held
    at 2 tomorrow afternoon at the
    Etkin Mortuary, 576 Linwood
    Ave. Dr. Joseph L. Fink, rabbi
    of Temple Beth Zion, will officiate.
    Burial will be in Forest
    Lawn Cemetery.

    avenue has issued announcement of
    the marriage of her daughter Minnie
    M.. to Leonard E. Goldstein, Monday,
    February 27. The ceremony was performed
    by the Rev. Bernard Cohn.

    On the day planned for the wedding
    of his daughter, Anna the funeral of
    William Bluestein, for more than
    t h i r t y years a Main street business
    man, will be held from the family
    residence at No 145 Mariner street.
    Mr. Bluestein died Sunday while chat-
    t i ng with friends.
    When stricken Mr. Bluestein realized
    he was about to die.
    "I am not going to be with you
    long," he said with difficulty. "Don't
    let this interfere with Anna's marriage."
    The wedding, which was to have
    t a k e n place this evening, has been
    postponed and I n v i t a t i o n s recalled.
    Miss Bluestein with her fiance, Emil
    Adler, No. 809 Gibson street, procured
    t h e marriage license last Saturday.
    Mr. Bluestein was fifty-two years
    old. He had been in ill health for
    months. It was because of his condition
    he retired from active business
    about a year ago. He was born in
    Russia and came to this country when
    a youth. He was a pioneer in the
    ladies' tailoring business and occupied
    t h e store at No. 670 Main street 'for
    years.
    Surviving Mr. Bluestein are his
    wife, Augusta Bluestein; daughters.
    Mrs. Max Levy and Minnie, Anna and
    Lillian Bluestein, and sons, Abraham
    H., Myron, Louis and Harry.
    Rabbi Max Grob will officiate at the
    services.
