HACKER - Waldemar M. Hacker, age 79, of North Tonawanda, Wednesday (June 9, 1976) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Mr. Hacker was a lifelong resident of North Tonawanda, a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, and a retired employe of the North Tonawanda Postal Dept. working there 37 years. He is survived by his wife, Alice (nee Bluhm). Surviving also are a daughter, Miss Ruth B. Hacker, and a son, John W. (Victoria) Hacker, both of North Tonawanda ; three grandchildren; three sisters , Mrs. Anna Zeckser of Buffalo, and Mrs. William Meyer and Miss Immanuela Hacker, both of North Tonawanda. The family will receive friends at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Road from 7-9 this evening and Friday 2-4 and 7-9. Services will be held at the funeral home Saturday at 10:30 a.m. The Rev. Enno A. Schmoock will officiate. Interment in St. Mark Lutheran Cemetery. If so desired, memorials may be made to St. Mark Lutheran Church.

of Mr and Mrs. William Bluhm
of Lockport to Waldemar Hacker of
North Tonawanda, was quietly solem-
ized at 4 o'clock Thursday afternoon
at Trinity Lutheran parsonage in
Lockport, the Rev. Herman Meier, of-
ficiating.
The bride wore a gown of tan flat
crepe with hat to match and a corsage
of bride roses and pink sweet
peas. Attendants were Miss Louise
BIuhm, sister of the bride, and Alvin
Harder of North Tonawanda. The
bridesmaid wore pink flat crepe with
hat to match and a corsage of pink
roses and sweet peas.
Following the ceremony a reception
was held at the home of the bride
covers were laid, for twelve at the
bride's table which was decorated in
pink and white
Mr. and Mrs. Hacker will be at home

The funeral of William F. Bluhm,
68 years old, who died Sunday morning
at his home, 57 Webb street was
held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at
the home and at 2:30 o'clock at Trinity
Lutheran church, the Rev Herman
Meier officiating. Burial waa in
Trinity Lutheran Cold Spring cemetery.
The bearers 'were Fred Fisher,
Henry Williams, John Staats, Albert
Goldenstein, David Hoffmaster and
Ernest Weber.
Mr. Bluhm was born In Germany
but come to this country forty years
ago, settling on a farm In the town
of Lockport. Later he moved into
the city and previous to his recent
illness he was employed In the shipping
department of the Simonds Saw
and Steel Company plant. Death was
caused my anemia.'
Surviving are his wife, Wilhelmine;
five daughters, Mrs. August Leingruebler
of Huston, Texas; Mrs. John Durow
of Lockport; Mrs. Benjamin Ellman
and Mrs. Waldemar Hacker of
North Tonawanda and Louise Bluhm

Mrs. Lena Pipenhagen
Mm. Lena Pipenhagen, seventy-eight years old, died last night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Wrege of the Witmer road, near St. Johnsburg. Mrs Pipenhagen had been an invalid for the last three years. Three daughters, Mrs. Wrege, Mrs. John Hacker of North Tonawanda and Mrs. Herman Wrege of Ransomville and one brother, Gustav Pipenhagen of North Ridge, sixteen grandchildren survive. The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at ... and half an hour later at St. Mark’s church on Washington Street, North Tonawanda. Burial will be at St. Johnsburg and Rev. Paul Fretthold will officiate.
