    NORTH RIDGE, July 24 - A love-
    ly wedding was solemnized at 1
    o'clock on Saturday afternoon, July
    20, at St. Peter's Evangelical Lu-
    theran church, North Ridge, when
    Miss Vera J. Perry, youngest daugh-
    ter of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Perry, of
    Ransomville, became the bride of
    Mr. Milford Bluhm, son of Mr. and
    Mrs. Elton Bluhm, North Ridge
    road.
    The Rev. Carl W. Oldsen, pastor
    officiated. Mrs. Leonard Borget,
    church organist played a program
    of wedding music while the guests
    were assembling in church. Miss
    Audrey Oldach, pianist, and Miss
    Beverly Lort Wilson sang, "I Love
    You Truly." The church was beau-
    tifully decorated with baskets of
    mixed garden flowers, vases of
    sweetpeas and lighted candelabra
    on the altar. The guest pews were
    tied with white satin ribbon.
    The bride, who was given in mar-
    riage by her father was lovely in
    a lace over white taffeta dress with
    a sweetheart neckline, long right
    sleeves forming a point over the
    hands, right bodice buttoned down
    the back into a long train. Her
    shoulder length veil of double net
    was caught to a coronet of seed
    pearls. She carried a bridal bouquet
    of white roses and sweetpeas. Her
    only jewelry was a strand of pealr,
    the gift of the groom.
    Yellow net over satin was worn
    by Miss Audrey Whitener of Lock-
    port, cousin of the bride and maid
    of honor. she carried an arm bou-
    quet, of orchid gladioli tied with
    yellow ribbon. the bridesmaids in-
    cluded Miss Marily Bluhm, sister
    of the groom, who wore blue, the
    right bodice of satin and a full
    net skirt. Her arm bouquet was
    pink gladiola tied with blue ribbon.
    Miss Audrey Rohring, cousin of
    the groom, were pink satin with a
    full net skirt and carried an arm
    bouquet of yellow gladiola tied with
    yellow ribbon. All wore matching
    head veils fastened to a coronet of
    roses.
    Miss Sally Cain, niece of the
    bride, as flower girl, wore a ruddled
    gown of yellow organdy. She car-
    ried a crocheted basket filled with
    daisies which she threw in the path
    of the bride. Her headdress was a
    yellow pleated coronet.
    Master Ronald Johnston counsin
    of the groom, acted as ring bearer
    and wore a white linen suit. He
    carried a white satin pillow tied
    with streamers to which roses were
    fastened.
    Mr. Bluhm's best man was John
    Cain. The ushers were Elwood Mil-
    ler and Edward Mang.
    The bride's mother wore navy blue
    with white accessories while the
    groom's mother wore a blue and
    white figured crepe dress with white
    accessories. Each wore a corsage
    of gardenias and baby's breath.
    After the ceremony, a reception
    was held for 150 guests at the home
    of the bride's sister, Mrs. Charles
    Crawford, of Wilson. The table was
    covered with a lace cloth centered
    with a tiered wedding cake.
    The happy couple left by motor
    for a trip to the Thousand Islands.
    The bride wore a yellow butcher
    linen dress with white accessories.
    Her corsage was of white roses.
    They willbe at home to their many
    friends at Ransomville after Au-
    gust 1.
    Among the out of town guests
    were Mrs. Elizabeth Bluhm, of
    North East, Pa., and Albert Rohr-
    ing of Westfield, N.Y. Other uests
    were from Niagraa Falls, Youngs-
    town, Lewiston, Baker, Ransom-
    ville and Lockport.
    Pre-nuptial events included vari-
    ety shower by Mrs. Harr Rohring
    and Mrs. Elsa Johnston, Lockport.
    Mrs. Elwood Miller and Mrs. Clif-
    ford Johnston, Cambria, Miss Mar-
    ilyn Bluhm, Mrs. Elton Bluhm and
    Mrs. Gordon Veister of Lewiston
    red and white kitch shower and
    Miss Audrey Whitcher Lockport
    and a personal shower by Mrs.
    Oliver Ames..

    RANSOMVILLE-Mrs. Lydia
    Perry, 67, of S. Lake St., died
    today. (Sept. 4, 1959) in Ransom
    ville General Hospital
    where she had been taken-after
    suffering a heart attack at
    her home earlier in the day.
    She was born in the Town
    of Wilson, Feb. 21,1892, daughter
    of Christopher and Hannah
    Schrader.
    MrY Perry was a member of
    St, Peter's Lutheran Church,
    North Ridge and of the Ransomville
    Mothers Club. She
    had made her home since December
    with a daughter, Mrs.
    Maybelle Cain.
    Survivors include her husband,
    Otto Perry; three daughters
    in addition to Mrs. Cain,
    Mrs. Vera Bluhm, North Ridge,
    Mrs'. Dorothy Mang, Newfane,
    and Mrs. Beatrice Crawford,
    Wilson; three brothers, Albert
    Rohring, Westfield, and Herman
    and Rudolph Schrader,
    both of Newfane; two sisters,
    Mrs. Hilda Whitcher and Mrs.
    Edna Miller, both of Lockport,
    and three grandchildren.
    Funeral arrangements are
    being made by the Hardison
    -Funeral Home

    of $2,000 each were made to three
    children. Elton Bluhm and Esther
    Miller, of Cambria. N. Y., and Edna
    Johnson, of Ransomvllle, N. Y..
    under the will of Charles Bluhm.
    Town of Cambria, which has been
    admitted to probate by Surrogate
    Raymond A. Knowles.
    Letters testamentary were Issued
    to the widow. Elisabeth Bluhm of
    Cambria, to whom the balance of
    the estate is left. Mr. Bluhm died
    November 30. The petition listed the
    estate as $1.000 and upwards realty.

    NORTH RIDGE - Charles F.
    Bohnstadt. 81. of 4143 N. Ridge
    Rd-, a retired farmer and resident
    of this community for the
    past 39 years, died Monday (May
    30. 1960) in his home.
    A native of Germany, where he
    was born on Jan. 21. 1879. Mr.
    Bohnstadt was the son of the late
    August and Wilhelmina Bohnstadt.
    He moved here in 1906. His
    wife, Mrs. Anna Bohnstadt, died
    in 1921. Mr. Bohnstadt was a
    member of St. Peter's Lutheran
    Church here,
    He is survived by a son, Paul
    Bohnstadt of Wilson; three
    daughters, Mrs. Margaret Bluhm,
    Mrs. Anna Rohring and Mrs. El-
    la Steadman, all of Lockport; a
    brother, Rudolf of Lockport; six
    grandchildren, 10 great grand-
    children, and several relatives in
    Germany.
    Services will be conducted at 2
    Thursday afternoon in his home,
    and at 2:30 in St. Peter's Lu-
    theran Church. Burial will be in
    the Lutheran Cemetery.

    The marriage of Miss Margaret
    Bohnstadt and Elton Bluhm took
    okace Wednesday evening, January
    16th, at the St. Peter's German Lu-
    theran church on Church road. The
    Rev. John Barkow officiated. Miss
    Hilda Bentel of Lockport was bridesmaid
    and Paul Bluhm was best man.
    The bride wore a gown of gray silk
    canton crepe and carried pink carnations.
    A reception w a s held a t the
    home of the bride's father, Charles
    Bohnstadt. about. 30 -guests being
    present. Twelve were seated at the
    bride's' table, which was decorated in
    yellow'and white.
    The newly wedded pair will reside
    in Cambria
