Michael J. O'Neil, 71, a state
accountant who resided at 23
Merry Hill Rd , died Wednesday
at Samaritan Hospital after a
long illness.
Born in Troy, he was the
ton of the late Michael O'Neil
and the late Rose Kelly. Although
he lived in Albany for
10 yean, he resided in Troy
moat of hia life. O'Neil retired
three yeara ago following aeveral
yeara of employment with
the State of New York Department
of Taxation and Finance.
He was alao a communicant of
St. Jude'a Church, Wynantskill.
Surviving arc hia widow, the
former Clare E. Blume; two
daughters, Mrs. Charles E.
Beauchea and Mra. William T.
Wade, both of Troy, and five
grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday
at 8:45 a.m. from the
Cumminga Funeral Home, 643
3rd Ave., Watervliet, and at
9:30 a.m. from St. Jude's
Church where a Requiem High
Masa will be celebrated. Interment
will be in St. Peter's
Cemetery, Troy.

Henry J. Blume, brother of Mrs.
John Stack of this city, died
Wednesday in Troy at his home,
203 Eighth street. He is survived
by his wife, Mary Contigan, a
daughter, Claire Blume, and a
brother, Robert Blume of this city.
Mr. Blume formerly lived in this
city, where he was born and moved
to Troy about 15 years ago. He attended
St. Peter's Church of that
city and was active in several men's
societies of Troy.

Mrs. Mary E. Blume of 225 8th
St., widow of Henry J. Blume, died
yesterday at St. Mary's Hospital
after a long illness. Formerly from
Schenectady, she was the former
Mary E. Costigan. Mrs. Blume was
a communicant of St. Peter's
Church and a member of the Rosary
Society. She had lived in Troy
for the last 35 years. Surviving are
one daughter, Mrs. Michael J.
O'Neil; a sister, Mrs. Wayne P.
Zent, and two grandchildren, all of
Troy. The funeral will be at 9 a.m.
Wednesday from the John H.
Lodge Funeral Home, 2243 5th
Ave., and at 9:30 a.m. from St. Pe-
ter's Church where a Requiem
Mass will be celebrated. Burial will
be in St. Peter's Cemetery.

TROY. Feb. 9 (Special)~Mrs. Anna
Costigan, one of the best known resi-
dents, of this city, died today at the
home of her daughter, Mrs. Wayne
Zent. of 312 Eighth street, following a
brief illness. Mrs. Costigan was a native
of this city and always lived here.
She was a communicant at St. Peter's
Church and was connected with the
League of the Sacred Heart of that.
church. She is survived by three
daughters. Mrs. Henry Blume and Mrs..
Wayne Zent of this city and Mrs, Alice
Breek, and a son. John Costigan, of
Schenectady.
The funeral will be held Monday
morning at 9 o'clock from the home of
Mrs. .Kent and 9:30 o'clock at St.
Peter's Church where a requiem high
