    Notes:

    Leno Pasquinelli, 93, of Lewiston, NY, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at Buffalo General Hospital. Born in Toby Valley, PA, he was the son of the late John and Bruna (Banucci) Pasquinelli.
    Leno was raised in Pennsylvania and attended local schools. He enlisted into the United States Navy in 1945 and served on the USS Allagash until his Honorable Discharge. Following his discharge, he moved to Niagara Falls, where he met his loving wife, Mildred (Blundy) Pasquinelli who he married on May 2, 1952.
    Leno was employed by the City of Niagara Falls as head of the heating and refrigeration department until his retirement in 1990. After his retirement he continued to stay active with the city as a consultant for several years.
    Leno was a longtime member of the VFW Post 917 and the Moose Lodge No. 838.  He enjoyed golfing, as well as rooting for the Buffalo Bills and his beloved New York Yankees. He was an avid bowler and especially enjoyed dropping treats off to his grandkids on the way to his league in Lewiston weekly.
    Leno loved travelling to Las Vegas with his friends and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren at family gatherings. Above all, Leno will be remembered as a great man who was willing to offer a helping hand to anyone in need.
    In addition to his wife of 69 years, Leno is survived by his daughter, Sandra (David) DeFazio; his grandchildren, Dr. Jennifer (Rod) DeFazio-Cousins, Justin DeFazio, David (Breanne) DeFazio, Kimberlee, Esq. (Brendan, Esq.) DeFazio- Palfreyman; his great-grandchildren, Olivia and Gracie DeFazio, Oliver and Owen Cousins, Avery and Connor Palfreyman, and was happily awaiting another great-granddaughter. Leno is also survived by his brother, Aldo (late Geraldine) Pasquinelli and his sister-in-law, Irene Giles, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by four brothers, Etole (late Millie) Pasquinelli, Nello (late Eleanor) Pasquinelli, Anthony (Doris) Pasquinelli and an infant brother, George Pasquinelli.
    Visitation will be on Friday, June 25 from 3 – 7 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. Leno’s Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10 A.M. in St. Mary of the Cataract Church, 237 4th Street, Niagara Falls, NY.     Mildred J. Pasquinelli, 90, of Lewiston, NY, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Wednesday, January 4, 2023. Born in Niagara Falls, N.Y. on January 6, 1932. She was the daughter of the late Peter and Jessie (Bolger) Blundy.
    On May 2, 1952, she married her beloved husband, Leno Pasquinelli who predeceased her on June 20, 2021 after 68 loving years together.
    Mildred graduated from the former Trott Vocational School of Nursing. She started her career at the former St. Mary's Hospital in Niagara Falls, NY, then went on to work at the Pediatric office of Doctors Schiff and Crea. She later retired from Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center after many dedicated years of nursing service to the community.
    Mildred enjoyed going shopping, playing cards and cheering for the New York Yankees. She loved decorating her home for the holidays. She also was a very loving and generous grandmother. She will be remembered for her sense of humor and above all she centered her life around her family and cherished the moments spent with her grandchildren.
    Mildred is survived by her loving daughter, Sandra (David) DeFazio; her grandchildren, Dr. Jennifer (Rod) DeFazio-Cousins, Justin DeFazio, David (Breanne) DeFazio, Kimberlee, Esq. (Brendan, Esq.) DeFazio- Palfreyman; her great-grandchildren, Olivia and Gracie DeFazio, Oliver and Owen Cousins, Avery, Connor and Madeleine Palfreyman; one sister, Irene (late Rod) Giles, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Ruth (late Thomas) Poulos, Peter Blundy, Shirley (late John) O'Donnell, Margaret Markle and Gerald Blundy.
    Visitation will be Saturday, January 14 from 10 - 11:15 AM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, followed by Mildred's Mass of Christian Burial at 12 Noon in St. Mary of the Cataract Church, 237 Fourth Street, Niagara Falls, NY. Entombment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorial offerings may be made to Upper Mountain Volunteer Fire Company, 839 Moyer Rd., Lewiston, NY, 14092.     He was a native of Chippawa.

    various construction projects
    in the area for more than 30

    Construction Co., from which
    he retired 13 years ago.
    Mr. Blundy was a member
