    St. Mary's Church in Albion was the
    scene of a pretty wedding on Saturday
    morning, June 17, 1944, when
    Miss Eleanor Dorothy Karls, daughter
    of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Karls, and
    Harold Smith Boccaccio, son of Mr.
    and Mrs. Joseph Boccaccio, were
    united in marriage at a nuptial high
    mass. The Rev. Melinski performed
    the ceremony before the altar banked
    with roses and pink and white peonies.
    The bride, who was given in mar-
    riage by her father, Stanley Karls,
    was gowned in white georgette with
    lace inserts, en train, and fingertip

    veil, with a wreath of orange blossoms.
    She carried a bridal bouquet of
    white roses and lilies of the valley.
    Miss Arlene Socciarelli, maid of
    honor, wore a gown of yellow net over
    satin, with lavender accessories, and
    carried an old-fashioned bouquet of
    yellow roses. Miss Loraine Rice and
    Miss Loraine Stucco acted as bridesmaids.
    Their gowns were fashioned
    alike, one being pink net over satin,
    the other blue net over satin. They
    carried old-fashioned bouquets. Arnold
    Basinait was best man for the groom.
    Following the ceremony a reception
    was held at St. Mary's Hall for 150
    guests. After a wedding trip to the
    Thousand Islands and other points of
    interest, Mr. and Mrs. Boccaccio will
    reside in Buffalo.
    Pre-nuptial events included a variety
    shower held at Maple Manor by
    Mrs. Harold Trolley and Mrs. Arnold
    Basinait.

    and Mrs. Carmel Bartlett of California,
    and Mrs. Angelo Piedmont of Fancher,
    N. Y.: four sons, Joseph, Anthony, Arthur
    and Homer Boccaccio, all of Syracuse.
    Funeral at his home 109 Olivet
    St.. Saturday at 9 a. m. and at St.
    Bridgid's Church at 9:30 a. m. Friends
    invited. Burial, St. Agnes' cemetery.
