Walter Peter Helnarski. 78,
of 7200 Packard Road, town
of Niagara , died Thursday
(April 15. 1971) in Memorial
Medical Center after a short
illness.
Born in Poland, he had been
a resident of this city for 62
years. He worked for Hooker
Chemical Corp. as a painter
for 15 years, retiring in 1957.
Prior to that he worked for
the International Paper Co.
for 30 years.
He is survived by his
widow, Mary ( S m i t h)
Helnarski; six daughters,
°Mrs. Paul (Julia) Bocek of
Town of Niagara, Mrs.
Michael (Helen) Kosut, Mrs.
Alexandra (Clara) Butry, and
Mrs. W i l l i am (Margaret)
Watson, all of this city, Mrs.
Anthony (Irene) Bocek of Van
Nuys, Calif., and Mrs. Francis
(Celia) Renaud o f
Cheektowaga a son, William
Smith of Fresno, Calif.; 15
grandchildren; five g r e a t grandchildren
and s e v e r al
nieces- and nephews.
Funeral services will be
held Saturday at 9:45 a.m.
at the Zajac Funeral Home
and at 10 a.m. at St.
Stanislaus Kostka C h u r c h.
Burial will be in Holy
Trinity Cemetery.
Recitation ot prayers at the
funeral home will be Friday
at 7 p.m.
