    TOWN OF NIAGARA —
    Larry DiRienzo, 65, of Town of Niagara, NY, passed away on December 13, 2013. He was the son of the late Dominic and Nancy (Scrufari) DiRienzo.
    Larry was born in Niagara Falls, NY, attended school locally and graduated from Niagara-Wheatfield High School. During the Vietnam War, he served in the United States Air Force from October 11, 1967 until his honorable discharge on October 22, 1968. On November 1, 1969, he married Gayle (Owens) DiRienzo in St. Leo's Church in Niagara Falls, NY. Larry worked for over 30 years as a carpenter with Carpenters Union in Western NY, until his retirement in 2010. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and will be remembered as an excellent woodworker and craftsman. Larry had a great sense of humor and was a great story teller. Most importantly, Larry enjoyed spending time with his beloved family.
    In addition to his wife of forty-four years, he is survived by two sons, David (Nicole) DiRienzo of Wheatfield, NY and Mark DiRienzo of Bentonville, AR; five grandchildren, Brian, Cameron, Jackson, Danika, and Abbigail; one sister, Mary Ann (Randy) Ebling of Del Ray Beach, FL, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was the brother-in-law of John Owens, Colleen (Bruce) Alexis, and Randy (Lisa) Johnston.
    Visitation will be on Friday, December 20th from 4-7 PM at Faith Community Church of the Nazarene, 3520 Saunders Settlement Rd., Sanborn, NY, where funeral services will immediately follow at 7 PM with Rev. Wayne Hokanson officiating, concluding with military honors. Flowers are gratefully declined, and memorials may be made to Faith Community Church of the Nazarene. Arrangements by M.J.     Miss Linda Owens was
    rriaid of honor for her sister.
    She was attired in aqua chiffon
    gown with b a t e au
    neckline, empire waist and
    puff sleeves. A matching forward
    effect, secured a bouffant
    veil and she carried a
    cascade of white daisies.
    The bridesmaids, similarly
    attired in turquoise chiffon
    gowns, wer Miss Mary Ann
    DiRienzo, sister of t he
    bridegroom; Miss Jo Ann
    Smith and Miss H e a t h er
    Scott. They carried blue and
    white daisies. Also in similar
    attire was the flower girl,
    Maria Gastrow., She carried
    a cascade of white daisies.
