North Tonawanda NY Evening News - 8/20/1947

Mrs. Mary Buchhardt, 69, died
last evening in her home, 60 Keil
street after a lingering illness. She
was the wife of George Buchhardt,
who recently retired after
serving as assistant fire chief of
North Tonawanda. A native of
Tonawanda, Mrs. Buchhardt was
a member of Frieden's Church and
the guild of the church. In addition
to her husband, she is survived
by a daughter, Mrs.' Norman
Oelkers of North Tonawanda.
a sister, Mrs. Minnie Bockhahn,
Tonawanda and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be
Friday at 2 p. m. from the late
residence. The Rev. Carl Edward
Burgess will officiate and burial
will be in White Chapel Memorial
Park
