Ruth (Leissle) Hilliard died on December 23, 2013 in Paris, TN at the age of 90, after a long illness. Born on December 19, 1923 in Germany, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Emilie Leissle. A former resident of Niagara Falls, she retired from Carborundum Abrasive Products in Wheatfield.
Beloved wife of the late William; dearest mother of William "Bill" (Glenda) Hilliard of Paris, TN and Rebecca (late John) Connell of Grand Island; cherished grandmother of ten grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; sister of Manfred (Marjean) of Niagara Falls. Also survived by a niece and a nephew.
Private services were held in Paris, TN.
