MEDINA — Mr. Donald E. Hellert of Medina passed away on January 5, 2014.

Survivors include his wife, M. Adelia; four children, Donna (Jim) Ferry, Marcia (Rob) Cook, Cindy (Jerry) Moule and Terry (Kim) Hellert; a daughter-in-law, Deb Hellert; nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; five sisters, Marion Washak, Elsie Williams, Libby Brauen, Kate Thiel and Ruby Schultz; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Randy Hellert; sister, Dorothy Schuler and brother, Robert "Butch" Hellert.

Friends may call on Wednesday 6-8PM at the Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina, where his funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11AM. Military honors will be accorded at the funeral home by members of Lincoln Post #1483, VFW and Butts-Clark Post #204, American Legion. Interment will be in the spring at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, West Shelby.

Road, Middleport, died Sunday at
Medina Memorial Hospital.
She was born March 2,1898 in the
Town of Royalton to Charles and
Anna (Mann) Mietz. She had lived in
Middleport all of her life. She was a
member of Trinity Lutheran Church
of Wolcottsville, and of the L. L.
Tillman American Legion Post
Auxiliary of Akron.
She was wife of the late Edward C.
Hellert, who died in 1977. She was
also pre-deceased by a daughter,
Dorothy Schuler, who died in 1979.
Survivors include two sons,
Donald (Adelia) Hellert and Robert
(Ruth) Hellert, both of Middleport;
five daughters, Mrs. Chester
(Marian) Washak of Medina, Mrs.
Walter (Elsie) Williams of Medina,
Mrs. Robert (Elizabeth) Brauen of
Gasport, Mrs. William (Katherine)
Thiel of Lockport, and Mrs. Lyell
(Ruby) Schultz of Middleport; one
sister, Mrs. Anna Wehling of
Wolcottsvil'e; 26 grandchildren; 38
great-gran Jchildren, and several
nieces and nephews.

Tuesday (2-4, 7-9) at the Bates,
Wallace and Heath Funeral Home
Inc., 38 State St., Middleport, and
Wednesday (10-11) at Trinity
Lutheran Church, Wolcottsville,
where funeral services will be held
at 11 a.m. Wednesday.

Augusta, wife of the late Charles Mietz of Wolcottsville, passed away Tuesday, September 17, at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Lewis Schorb, Wilson, N.Y., age 77 years. Survived by six daughters and four sons, Mrs. John Retzlaff, Mrs. Charles Foss, Mrs. Martin Krebs, Mrs. Benjamin Bailey, Mrs. Lawrence Stein, Mrs. Lewis Schorb, Gustave, Edward, Carl and Rudolph Hellert; four brothers and three sisters, August, William, Albert and Elmer Schilling, Mrs. Andrew Heilbert, Miss Anna Schilling, and Mrs. William Ball; 30 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Funeral will be s held Friday, September 20, at the residence of her daughter Mrs. John Retzlaff, Creek road, Wolcottsville, at 2:30 D.S.T., and at 3 P.M. at Trinity Lutheran church, Wolcottsville. Burial in Trinity Lutheran cemetery. Rev. Herman Ewald officiating.
