    Mrs. Augusta Strehler, 69. of 1615
    Niagara street, died yesterday. A na-
    tive of Germany., she was the widow
    of Gottfried Strehler. She had been
    in ill health for some time She was
    active in the affairs of the Trinity
    Evangelical Lutheran church.
    Surviving Mrs, Strehle; are two
    sons. Arthur C. Michel, of this city,
    and Herbert L. Michel, of Lewiston,
    N Y. and a daughter. Mrs. Virginia
    J. Gromoll. of this city, four
    sisters. Mrs. Herman Donner. of
    Middleport, N. Y, Mrs. Henry Keller,
    of Los Angeles. Calif : Mrs. Ferdinand
    Hess and Mrs. J. Warren
    Cunningham, both of this city, and
    a brother. Fred Boehnke. of Tonawanda.
    N. Y. Four grandchildren
    also survive
    Private funeral services will be
    held from the family residence on
    Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock and
    i He said the ground at present is public services will be held from the
    Trinity Evangelical Lutheran church
    at 2:30 o'clock with the Rev. Paul J.
    Hartenberger officiating. Interment
    will be in Memorial Park cemeterv.

    The funeral of Ferdinand Boehnke,
    90, formerly of this city, who
    died Wednesday at the home of his
    daughter, Mrs. Ferdinand Hess,
    2313 Sixteenth street. Niagara Falls,
    after a long illness, will be held
    Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at
    the Otto Rendanz funeral home,
    Michigan avenue and Tenth street,
    Niagara Falls. The body will be
    brought here for burial.
    Mr. Boehnke was born in Germany
    and came to the United
    States 50 years ago. He lived in
    Lockport a number of years and
    worked in the paper mills. For 39
    years he had been retired.
    Surviving are two sons, Carl Boehnke,
    Syracuse; Fred Boehnke,
    Tonawanda; and six daughters, Mrs.
    Henry Keller, Hollywood; Mrs. Herman
    Donner, Lockport; Mrs. Hess,
    Mrs. Gottfried Strehler, Mrs. Pauline
    Traub and Mrs. Warren J,
    Cunningham, all of Niagara Falls.

    The funeral services of Caroline
    Boehnke, wife of Ferdinand Boehnke,
    Sr., was held from the late home. No-
    85 Olcott Street on Sunday afternoon,
    July 22nd. at 1:30 and at 2 o'clock
    from Trinity Evangelical Lutheran
    Church on Saxton Street, the Rev.
    Herman Meier officiating. Mrs.
    Boehnke was one of the oldest members
    of the church and the services
    were largely attended by relatives
    and friends. The bearers were Messrs.
    Fred Hoffmaster. Albert Plaster, August
    Weber. Ernest Weber, Jacob
    Hendricks and. Joseph Greenthaner.
    Interment was made in German Lutheran
    Cold Springs ceemtery.
