    Miss Arlene Ruth Hansen, daughter
    of Mr. and Mrs. Edward H
    Hansen became the bride of Ralph
    Anson Bolton Friday evening at
    7:30 In Prospect Avenue Baptist
    Church, Buffalo. The Rev. Clayton
    E. Bacon officiated.
    Given in marriage by her father,
    the bride wore a gown of Chantlily
    lace over white satin. A ruffle of
    the lace outlined the portrait ne:k-
    11m of the fitted bodice and the
    full skirt was caught into a bustle
    and formed a long circular train.
    Her finger-tip veil of French illusion
    was held to her coiffure by a
    band of illusion with face-framing
    clusters of orange blossoms. The
    bridal bouquet was a cascade arrangement
    of gardenias.
    The maid of honor was Miss Sally
    L. Munger and the bridesmaid were
    Miss Margaret Kittinger Batson,
    Miss Patricia A. Maxwell and Miss
    Patricia A. Moore. They were
    gowned alike in pink marquisette
    fashioned with portrait necklines
    edged with ruffles of the material
    and trimmed with two bands ot
    matching velvet ribbon. The bodices
    of the dresses were fitted and
    the full skirts were edged with a
    dust ruffle trimmed with the same
    ribbon. The attendants' Colonial
    bouquets were of pink roses, blue
    delphiniums and single blossoms of
    lavender gladioli.
    Russell W. Burnes was best man
    and usher were Robert D. Phil-
    lips of Cleveland, cousin of the
    bridegroom; Peter S. Kern and
    John P. Henrich. Pale blue crepe
    with a corsage bouquet of garden-
    ias was worn by the bride's moth-
    er, while the bridegroom's mothr
    selected a floral print dress with
    which she wore a gardenia shoul-
    der bouquet.
    A reception was given in the
    Georgian Room of the Hotel Stat-
    ler. For motoring through New
    England the bride wore a Summer
    suit in pastel pink and a large
    Panama hat. Her shoulder bou-
    quet was of gardenias.
    Mr. Bolton is the grandson of
    John Bolton, Washburn Street, and
    of Mr. and Mrs. Anson Chapin of
    Hartland.

    At the home of the bride in Hartland,
    the the marriage et Miss Alice
    L. Chaplin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs,
    Anson D. Chaplin, to Ralph Bolton, waa
    solemnised en Saturday afternoon, at
    4 o'clock. Rev. George Maiming officiat-
    ing.
    Clusters of pink and white roses Were
    used in the house decorations and the
    bridal march was played by Howard
    Seward. The bride waa gowned in
    white georgette with satin and her tulle
    veil was fastened with orange blossoms.
    Her bouquet was of bride roses and
    sweet peas. Miss Dora Chaplin was
    her sister's maid wearing pink organdie
    and ber flowera were pink rotas and
    sweet peas. Mrs. Chaplin was hand-
    somely gowned In blue. Harold Bolton
    was his brother's best man.
    A reception to 60 guests was held"
    following the ceremony, 12 being seated
    at the bride's table, which was also
    decorated with pink and white,, rosea.
    Mr. and Mrs Bolton left on an eastern
    motor trip, the bride, wearing a
    traveling suit ot blue with hat and
    gloves of tan, and upon their return
    will be at home in Buffalo.

    A retired gardener and longtime
    resident of Lockport, John Bolton
    Sr., 96, of 445 Washburn St., died
    early this morning (July 2, 1958)
    at his home.
    Mr. Bolton was born Feb. 24,
    1862, In East Sutton, Kent, England,
    the son of Frederick and Ana
    MacKender Bolton. He came to
    Lockport when in hit early 20't.
    Hit wife waa the late Phoebe Ireland
    Bolton.
    Mr. Bolton was one of the oldest
    members of Grace Episcopal
    Church.
    He is survived by two daughters,
    and four sons, Elsie, Harold and
    John Jr.. of Lockport, Roger of
    California, Ralph of Buffalo and
    Mrs. Victor Lill of Niagara Falls,
    four grandchildren and nine greatgrandchildren.
    Friends may call at the residence
    today, tomorrow and Friday.
    The burial office will be held
    at Grace Church Saturday morning
    at 11. the Rev. George B.
    Wood, curate, officiating. Burial
    will be in Glenwood Cemetery.
