    toria avenue. Niagara Falls. Ont., was
    on Saturday afternoon, September 23.
    the scene, at a very pretty autumn
    wedding, when his second daughter.
    Norma Kathleen, was united in mar-
    riage to Mr. Frederick W. Bonacker,
    only son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Bonacker
    of this city.
    The stairway down which the bridal
    party came, and the drawing room
    where the ceremony took place, were-
    very tastefully decorated with palms,
    ferns and baskets of cut flowers. The
    nuptial knot was tied by Rev. James
    Barber, in t he presence of the imme-
    diate relatives and friends of the contracting
    parties.
    The bride, who was given in marriage
    by her father, was gowned very
    becomingly in navy canton crepe, with
    trimmings of cloth of gold, her hat
    being cinnamon brown, with gold lace
    and she wore a corsage bouquet of
    Ophelia roses and baby's breath.
    Miss Mabel Rigg, who attended her
    as bridesmaid, was smart in brown
    duvetyn, with beaver trimming, wear-
    ing a picture hat to match, and. a
    corsage of sunset roses. 'Mr. Herbert
    Green of this city ably assisted the
    groom.
    The wedding music was played by
    the bride's sister, Miss Vera Lamb,
    and. Miss Gertrude Bonacker. sister
    of the groom, sang -"I Love You
    Truly.''
    Following the ceremony' a dainty
    supper was served, after which the
    bridal couple left for a wedding trip
    in New York and Atlantic City. The
    bride traveled in a handsome frock'
    of navy poiret twill, with pipings
    of fawn crepe, wearing a lovely cloak
    of Orlando cloth, with sable collar,
    and becoming hat to match.
    Mr. and Mrs Bonacker will be at
    home to their many friends after Oc-
    tober 15th at No. 101 Parkview ave-
    nue. Syracuse, N. Y.

    Mrs. Nettle Bonacker, widow of
    Daniel Bonacker. died at noon yesterday
    at her home, 430 Sixth street.
    She had been confined "to bed since
    last November.
    Born in Germany, Mrs. Bonacker
    came to Niagara Falls a child 67
    years ago. Her husband, member of
    the first city police department, was
    retired on a pension 15 years ago. He
    died several years ago. Mrs. Bonacker
    was widely known and her many
    friends. She is survived by two
    daughters, Mrs. Gordon Lyall, of
    Toronto, Ont., and Miss Gertrude
    Bonacker, of this city, and a son,
    Fred, in Boston.
    Funeral services will be held at the
    Gridley funeral home on Wednesday.

    Jacob Bonacker, Sr., an old resident of
    Niagara Falls, died very suddenly at his
    home No. 11 Ontario street at 2 o'clock
    Saturday afternoon of paralysis. The deceased
    was'born in Hessen Darmstadt,
    Germany, in 1821 and was over 70 years of
    age. He came to this country and Niagara
    Falls in 1815 and has since resided here.'
    He was a blacksmith by trade. A family of
    four sons and three daughters survive him.
    his wife having died about nine years ago,
    their names are: Martin P.,- Daniel, Jacob,
    George, MissbCatherine,Mrs. John Stromer
    and Mrs. P. Guinthcr.
    The funeral was observed at 2 o'clock
    Tuesday afternoon from his late residence,
    Rev. A. S. Bacon officiating. The bearers
    were Hans Nielson, Leonard Hengsler.
    Adam Lippert, William Thurecht, Thoma
    Mullen and Caleb Tschaboldt. The remains
    were in buried in Oakwood cemeterv.
