    The marriage of Miss Helen M.
    Wodo, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
    John Wodo, 2714 Orleans Ave.,
    Niagara Falls, and Stanley A.
    Rykiel, son of Mrs. Sally Rykiel
    of Niagara Falls, was solemnized
    Saturday, October 18 in Our Lady
    of Rosary Church.
    The bride wore a gown of white
    satiif with bustle and circular
    train and a scalloped veil of illusion
    fastened to a lace crown. Sht
    carried a spray of gardenias centered
    with orchids.
    The maid of honor, Miss Stella
    Kwiatek was attired in a gown of
    rose taffeta and matching mitts
    with crowd of sequins in her
    hair. She carried red roses and
    pompoms. Bridesmaids, Miss
    Helen Wojciechowski of North
    Tonawanda and Miss Sophie L i s,
    wore fuschia taffeta with matching
    plumes in their hair and carried
    pink roses and pompoms.
    Miss Virginia Niemiec of North
    Tonawanda, niece of the bride,
    wore a yellow ruffled marquisette
    frock, matching mitts, and a
    yellow bonnet with satin ribbon
    streamers. Her colonial bouquet
    was of yellow roses and pompoms.
    Thadeus Krupa attended the
    bridegroom as best man and the
    ushers were Stanley Nowrotek
    and Bruno Kapinos. Junior usher
    was Marion Wodo, Jr.
    The bride's mother wore a
    navy blue street length dress with
    aqua and coral trim and the
    bridegroom's mother chose a
    black gabardine suit. Both wore
    corsages of red roses.
    A reception for 400 guests at
    St. Georges Hall followed a wedding
    breakfast for the family and
    briday party. After a motor trip
    to Washington, D. C. and Balti
    more the couple is living in Ni
    agara Falls.

    of the late Mary Uboski. Survi-

    John Wodo, 78, formerly of
    1328 E. Fails St., died in Buffalo
    today (Dec. 28, 1963) aft-
    er a long illness.
    A native of Poland, Mr.
    Wodo came to this country
    and this city 57 years ago. He
    was employed by the Aluminum,
    Company of America for
    many years until the plant
    here closed.
    He was a member of Woodmen
    of the World Camp No.
    211.
    Surviving are three daughters,
    Mrs. Stanley (Helen) Rykiel,
    this city, Miss Marian
    Wodo, Town of Niagara, and
    Mrs. Theodore (Jeannette)
    Niemiec, North Tonawanda;
    a son, Edward Wodo, this
    city; 8 grandchildren and 7
    great-grandchildren.
    The services will be held
    at 8:30'a.m. Tuesday at the
    Tubinis Funeral Home and at
    9 o'clock at Our Lady of the
    Rosary Church. Burial will be
    in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
    The rosary will be recited
    at 7;30 p.m.. Monday. Friends
    may call after 1 p.m. Sunday.
