Obituary for William "Bill" Misko
William “Bill” Misko of Wheatfield New York
On February 2, 2021, aged 61, passed away after a long battle with cancer.

Born in North Tonawanda, NY. Son of the late Carol A. (nee Kolb) Hils and John Hils. He retired after serving 20 years in the US Marine Corps and another 21 years in government service with Customs and Border Protection. He received a bachelor’s degree from National University and a master’s degree from Michigan State. Bill was an avid woodworker and created fine furniture in his spare time. He enjoyed hunting, competitive pistol target shooting, and playing chess.

Bill is survived by his wife of 33 years, Ruth Benton-Misko, his two daughters; Sarah (Scott) Welker of Shelby MT and Rachel (Rueben) Hand of North Tonawanda, NY and 3 grandchildren; Taryn, Roscoe and Rollie. Also survived by sisters; Debbie (Gerald) Malfeo of Naples FL, Cindy (Mario) DeMarchis of Williamsville NY, Joanne (Dale) Winters of Thomson GA, Wendy (John) Pellow of Lewiston NY, and brother John (Karen) Hils of North Tonawanda NY, along with several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation Tuesday June 22, 2021 from 6 to 8 PM in the WATTENGEL Funeral Home, 533 Meadow Drive, Funeral Services Wednesday June 23, 2021 at 10 AM from the Funeral Home.
Interment with Military Honors will follow at Acacia Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport NY 14094.
