    The 10 a.m. ceremony was performed by the Rev.
    John F. Willman, cousin of the bride, who obtained
    the blessing with/the help of Henry Borgese, uncle
    of the bridegroom, who resides in Rome, Italy;

    Miss Sylvia Doherty was her
    sister's maid of honor and
    bridesmaids were Miss Pat
    D.oherty and Miss Kathy Doherty,
    cousins of the bride,.and
    Miss Kathy Sue Doherty, also
    a sister of the bride. Julie
    Anne Eichelberger was flower
    girl. The attendants wore fur-"
    trimmed gold brocade gowns.
    Richard Briand, Niagara
    Falls, was best man. Ushers
    were Emmauele Rao, Angelo
    Morinello and Matthew Schiro,
    all of Niagara Falls. James
    Eichelberger was ring-bearer. •
    A reception was held at the
    Trolley Tavern Ballroom.
    After a honeymoon in the
    Bahamas, the newlyweds will
    reside in Covedale, Ohio.

    Angie (DeFranco) Borgese, 100, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on May 22, 2018 at O.L.P Nursing Care Facility in Lewiston, N.Y.  Born January 1, 1918 in Niagara Falls, she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo "James" and Caroline (Fusco) DeFranco.
    Angie attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School.  She married Joseph "Joe" Borgese at St. Joseph Church in Niagara Falls, N.Y.  Mr. Borgese predeceased her on May 11, 1974.  Angie was a talented artist and ceramic painter. She was also an avid seamstress and enjoyed millinery work.
    Angie is survived by her son Anthony "Tony" Borgese and daughter-in-law Nancy Borgese of Wilmington, N.C.; her grandson Joseph and great-grandchildren, Annabella and Anthony Borgese of Charlotte, N.C.; one granddaughter, Gina Borgese Bell and great granddaughter, Gabrielle Bell of San Diego, CA.  She is also survived by her brother, Michael "Mickey" DeFranco and sister-in-law Ann DeFranco of Lewiston, N.Y., as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and her sister-in-law Connie Borgese.  She was predeceased by two sisters and five brothers, Rose Moreale, Josephine Schiro, Frank DeFranco, Anthony DeFranco, Anthony Guiarina, Samuel DeFranco and Russell DeFranco
    Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 29th from 4 - 8 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, where funeral services will begin on Wednesday at 9:00 A.M., followed by Angie's Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary of the Cataract Church, 259 Fourth Street, Niagara Falls, N.Y.     at M e m o r i a l
    Hospital after a
    short illness.
    A native of
    Italy, Mr. Borgese
    was a resident
    of Niagara
    Falls for 40
    yean and was
    in business here
    for 35 years.
    Survivors include
    his wife,
    Mrs. Margarita' Borgese; five
    daughters, Mrs. Dominick Previte,
    Miss Margaret Borgese, Miss Mary
    Borgese and Miss Carmela Borgese,
    all of this city, and Mrs.
    Peter Rao. Lewiston; three sons.
    Joseph, Frank and Henry Borgese,
    all of this city; 12 grandchildren
    and one great grandchild.
    Also surviving are two brothers.
    Carmelo Borgese, this city, and
    Francesco Borgese, Italy, and two
    sisters, Mrs. Letterio Catanes, Atlantic
    City. N.J., and Mrs. Natale
    Nastasi, Italy.
    Mr. Etorgcse was also the father
    of the late Candelor Borgese, this
    city.
    Funeral services will be held at
    8:30 a.m. Friday at thc Magaddino
    Memorial Chapel and at 9:30 a.m.
    at St. Joseph's Church. Burial will
    be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
