    RANSOMVILLE -
    Terry T. Hurtgam, age 51, of Ransomville, died on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at his home under the loving care of his family and Niagara Hospice after a long battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). Terry was born on February 2, 1963 in Syracuse, NY, the son of Sue (Harbison) Hurtgam of Ransomville and the late Mervin Hurtgam. He was 1981 graduate of Wilson High School and was an Operations Manager with Kitchen World for over 30 years. He enjoyed hunting, camping and being with his family.
    In addition to his mother, Terry is survived by his wife, Julie (Heiman) Hurtgam, whom he married on October 22, 1994. He is also survived by a daughter, Jill (Ryan) Harden of Ransomville; a son, Patrick (Katelyn) Ferguson of Lockport; his grandchildren, Hunter, Parker, Tanner, and Charlotte; his siblings, Brenda (Jim) Bolinski of Philadelphia, PA, Craig Hurtgam of LaGrange, IN, Rise (Jack) Gian of Ft. Myers, FL, Joel (Lisa) Hurtgam and Mark Hurtgam, both of Youngstown and Mary Anne (Glenn) Boyce of Ransomville; and his mother-in-law, Diane Heiman of Lockport.
    Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville on Saturday, April 5th from 2-4 PM and 7-8:30 PM. A Memorial Service will begin at 8:30 PM in the funeral home, with the Rev. William Lowery, Pastor of the Ransomville Free Methodist Church, officiating.     Sue Carol Hurtgam, age 89, of Lockport died Saturday, May 7th, 2022, at OLP in Lewiston, NY. Sue was born on March 19th, 1933, in Niagara Falls, NY. She is the daughter of the late J. Lloyd and the late Hazel (Bradley) Harbison. She graduated from Wilson CSD class of 1950. She was lastly employed by Beutel Greenhouses as a laborer doing greenhouse transplanting. Sue was an avid crocheter.Surviving are her children; Brenda (Jim) Bolinski, Craig Hurtgam, Rise (Jack) Gian, Joel Hurtgam, Mark Hurtgam and Mary Anne (Glenn) Boyce; a daughter inlaw Julie Hurtgam; 16 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren, she is predeceased by her son Terry Hurtgam.Per her wishes she was cremated and will be buried in North Ridge Cemetery on Church Rd. in Cambria with her mother on May 20th, 2022, at 1:00 PM. friends and family are welcomed to attend.Memorial donations may be made the Niagara Co.     He was a truck driver for

    Clarence, and the Ransomville
    Implement and Supply Co., and
    operated a milk route in Ransomville
    and Niagara Falls.
    Born in Indiana, Pa., on June
    16, 1903, he lived in Cheektowaga
    for the last five years
    and in Ransomville the 40 years
    prior to that.
    He was a former member of
    the Ransomville Fire Co., and
    | a member of the Ransomville
    Exempt Firemen.
    He is survived by his widow,
    Hazel Bradley Harbison; a daughter,
    Mrs. Marvjn Hurtgam of

    Services Conducted In English And German For 86 Year old
    North Ridge Sept 23 - Services for Charles Hurtgam, 86, who died at his home on the Frog Hollow road, town of Cambria, Sunday, were held on Tuesday at the home and later to St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran church, of which he was member. The Rev. Carl W. Oldach, the pastor, officiated. Services were to both German and English. The choir sang "I'm But a Stranger Here, Heaven Is My Home," and "Jerusalem, Thou City Fair." The bearers, all neighbors, were Charles Hillman Jr., Fred Behrens, Chester Demmin, John Demmin, W. Ransom Peterson and Julius Seefeldt. Burial was to St Peter's Lutheran cemetery. Mr. Hurtgam is survived by his widow, Mrs. Augusta Hurtgam, eight children, 13 grand-children, and one great-grandchild.
