    in the Chamberlin Funeral Home here
    for Mrs. Harriet M. Lemen, 68, of
    Greenmount Ave., who died Sunday
    (July. 9. 1978) in Strong Memorial
    Hospital. Rochester, following a long
    illness.
    Born in Hornell. she had lived in
    Dansville for the past 17 years. She was
    employed as secretary and agent for
    the Aetna Insurance Co. in Hornell for
    many years, and for the past several
    years was admissions clerk for
    Bethesda Hospital in North Hornell.
    She was a member of the Dansville
    Presbyterian Church.
    Surviving are her husband, Leon; a
    son,, Gary L. at home; a daughter, Mrs.
    Sandra Lee Dempewolf of San Diego,
    Calif; three brothers, William Bossard
    of Hornell, Merlin of Saratoga Springs
    and Kenneth of Jacksonville, S.C.; a
    sister, Mrs. Marion Bicknell of
    Woodbury, N.J.; and two
    grandchildren.
    Burial was in Greenmount Cemetery,
    Dansville

    road, became the bride of Leon
    L. Lemen, son of Mr. and Mrs.
    Charles Lemen of Dansville to
    Park Church, Hornell at 2
    o'clock Saturday afternoon. The
    Rev. Samuel .Keen performed
    the ceremony on a platform dec
    oiated with white nydrangeas.
    The altar was? decorated with
    bouquets of gladiola, butterfly
    brush, bachelor buttons and
    baby breath. Miss Catherine
    Lemen, niece of the bridegroom.
    sang "Because; You're Mine",
    accompanied at the organ by
    Mrs. Merle Greene.
    The bride, who was given in
    marriage by hfr father, wore a
    white satin gown en train with
    inserts of lace in the skirt and
    a Anger tip veil. She carried a
    shower bouquet of white sweet,
    peas and gardenias. Miss
    Marion Bossard, sister of the
    bride, was maid of honor and
    wore a pink net floor length
    dress with lace inserts in the
    skirit and carried a colonial
    bouquet of pink and white sweet
    peas, delphiniums and baby
    breath,
    Richard Lemen, brother of the
    oridegroom, was best man and
    the ushers were Herman Reinholtz
    and Kenneth Randall of
    Dansville.
    Dinner was served to 70 guests
    at the Smith Tea Room on the
    Almond Road. After the dinner
    a reception was held at the
    bride's home. The couple then
    left for a trip to Canada and
    the New England States. For
    traveling, Mrs. Lemen wore a
    redingote of brown and white
    with white accessories. Upon
    their return September 1st, they
    will reside at 22 Ravine Street,
    Hornell.
    The bride's mother wore a
    black jersey dres with black
    and white accessories and a cor-
    sage of pink roses and baby
    breath. The mother of the bride
    groom wore a blue chiffon dress
    with white accessories and a
    corsage of pink roses and baby
    breath.
    The bride is a graduate of the
    Hornell High School and Feder-
    al Commercial School. She has
    worked for sometime in the of-
    fice of R. E. Page in Hornell.
    The bridegroom graduated from
    Dansville High School and is em-
    ployed in a Dansville store.
    Out of town guests included

    Shore, L. I., Mr. and Mrs. Char-
    les Lemen; Mr. and Mrs. Ray-
    mond Randall, Mr. and Mrs.

    Mrs. John Gaughan, Mrs. Eler
    Bassett, Mrs. Leonard Smith,
    Frank Gilbride, Edward Roberts,

    Dansville-Fred D. Bossard, 55, of
    South Hornell, father-in-law of Leon
    Lemen of Hornell, formerly of this
    village, died in St. James" Mercy
    Hospital, Thursday afternoon. Mr.
    Bossard. proprietor of the Glenwood
    Dairies, had been a patient at the
    hospital since December 17. -
    He is survived by his widow, one
    other daughter, five sons, his father,
    William Bossard of Hornell, and
    three sisters.
    Funeral services were conducted
    from the family home, Tuesday afternoon.

    Fred married Anna B about 1909. Anna was born about 1888 in New York; died on 19 Aug 1933 in Rochester, Monroe County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    Bossard; five children, Hariett,
    William, Marian, Merlin and Ken-
    neth, all at home, and a sister, Mrs.
    Buare Gulliver, Babylon, L.I.
