(nee Hale) Baker, age 76, of North Tonawanda on April 13, 2014 at Niagara Hospice House. Beverly worked for Sears Roebuck and Co. at the Summit Park Mall for over thirty years. In her spare time, she crocheted baby blankets for Children's Hospital. She enjoyed the local casinos and traveling to Las Vegas. Wife of the late William J. Baker, Lloyd C. Tooke, Jr. and faithful companion of the late Rodney Budwey. Loving daughter of Marjorie (the late Irving) Hale. Beloved mother of Lorinda (nee Tooke) (Jeffrey) Morris, Janine (nee Tooke) (Charles) Kiszewski, Lloyd C. (Jilleen) Tooke III. Step-mother of Bonnie (Bob) Bennett, David (Patti) Baker, Laurie (John) Kuhn. Sister of Anita (Jim) Stilwell, Donna (Bill) Fox and Gary (Joanne) Hale. Proud grandmother of Nathan (Ally), Mathew (Niki), R.J. (Lindsay) and Andrea Morris, also Courtney Ann Kiszewski and Christopher (Ashton), Megan and Nicole Tooke. Step-grandmother of Trevor Bennett, Shelby and Austin Baker, Maddie and Emiley Kuhn. Great-grandmother "GG" of Brodie, Eli, Drew and Laila Morris and Lillyana. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins and her loving cat "Baby". Friends received by the family on Wednesday (April 16, 2014) from 4-8 PM at the Brunner Funeral Home (692-3841), 156 Robinson St., North Tonawanda. Funeral services will be held on Thursday morning at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment at White Chapel Memorial Park will be private. Irving + CANHAM, Marjorie. Marjorie (daughter of CANHAM, Samuel and MILLER, Stella) was born about 1918 in Barre, Orleans County, NY; died on 21 May 2015 in Degraff Memorial Hospital, North Tonawanda, Niagara County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

Marjorie (nee Canham) Hale, age 97, of North Tonawanda, died Thursday, May 21, 2015 at the DeGraff Skilled Nursing Facility after a long illness. Born in Barre, NY, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Stella (nee Miller) Canham and had been a resident of North Tonawanda for the greater part of her life. She had been a member of North Presbyterian Church, a member of the Senior Citizens and a volunteer for the Clothes Closet in North Tonawanda. Marjorie was the wife of the late Irving C. Hale, who died in 1989, and the mother of the late Beverly A. Baker, who died last year.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Anita (Jim) Stilwell of Florida and Donna (Bill) Fox of Lyndonville, NY; and a son, Gary D. Hale of Grand Island, NY. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren, many great and great-great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.

There is no visitation. Arrangements were cared for privately at the convenience of the family, followed by inurnment of her cremains at White Chapel Memorial Park, Town of Amherst. If desired, memorials to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094, are preferred by the family.
