George Litschner Dies Shortly
After Attempting to
Board Moving Vehicle.
George Litschner,. eighteen years, old.
of No. 7W Genesee street, was fatally
injured yesterday afternoon in attempting
to board a moving truck belongipg
to the Hoefler Ice Cream company.
His right hip and leg were broken and
he was hurt internally. He died just
as he reached the Sisters' hospital, to
which he was takeu on the truck that
injured him. The accident happened at
Jefferson and Florida streets. The
truck was driven by Henry Glasser of
No. 967 Michigan street.
Litschner, who was Glasser's helper,
was entangled in the driving chain and
drawn into a wheel which crushed him.
He missed the running board when he
tried to get aboard the truck.
Medical Examiner Danser issued a
certificate of accidental death.

The funeral will be held front the
family residence, Ne. 764 Genesee street,
Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, and front
the Evangelical Lutheran Emaus church
at 2:30 o'clock. Friends are invited to attend.
