BOURASSA - Edward E. Bourassa,
aged 78, died Saturday (Jan.
1, 1955) in Sisters Hospital, Buffalo,
after a brief illness. Born in
Ripley, Mich., he had resided for
the greater part of his life in rne
Tonawandas and worked as a captain
on tugboats on the Great
Lakes. For the past three years,
Mr. Bourassa had made his home
at the St. Mary of the Angels
Home in Williamsville. He is survived
by two sons, Louis H. Bourassa
of Kenmore and Lynn A.
Bourassa of Tonawanda; three
daughters, Mrs. Charles Sharkey
of Tonawanda, Mrs. Louis Gerbec
of Gowanda and Mrs. William
Hunt of Kenmore; 11 grandchildren
and six great-grandchildren
and a sister, Mrs. Henry Thursam
of Tonawanda. Friends may call
at the Hamp Funeral Home, 37
Adam St. where services will be
Tuesday morning at 8:30 a.m. and
at 9 at St. Francis Church, the
Rev. Wilbur Yeager officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
