Augustus C. Peterkin. 57. of 831
Chilton Avenue. who was employed
for the last 23 years as a cable
splicer by the Niagara Falls Power
company, died last night at Memorial
hospital. Me bad been 111
since the latter part of December
and was taken to the hospital yesterday.
A life long resident of this city,
he was born here June 27. 1889, a
son of the late William and Elizabeth
Jackson Peterkin.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Hazel
Bovanizer Peterkin; a daughter,
Mrs. Harold Downing, DesMoines,
IA, a son. Richard E. Owens, and
two sisters, Mrs. William Messing
and Mrs. Martin O. Stever. this city.
