    Word has been recelved of the
    death of Mrs. Peter Yoos in Kansas
    City, Mo., on June 17th.
    Mrs. Yoaa was the former Ruth
    Bowen, youngest daughter of the
    Mr. Lewis Bowen and Mrs. Lillian
    Bowen of Randolph and lived in
    this vicmity some years ago.
    Besides her husband she is sur-
    vived by a son and two grandchild-
    ren of Kansas City and a brother,
    Harold Bowen of Dublin.
    Her aged mother and a sister
    Mrs. Maud Carr of Randolph were
    with her some weeks prior to her
    death.
    Burial was in Kansas City.

    Mn. Lillian Thomas Bowen,
    wife of the late Lewis Bowen,
    formerly of Ellicottville and vicinity,
    passed away at her home
    in Randolph, Friday, after a long
    illness.
    Mn. Bowen was the mother of
    Mrs. Maud Carr with whom she
    madĂȘ her home. She was also
    the mother of the late Mrs. Edna
    Martin, Mrs. Ruth Yoos, Charles
    Bowen and Harold Bowen.
    Bowen would have been
    ninety-seven on February 1st.
    She leaves one sister,
    Hattie Bowen, Collegedale,
    Tenn.; eight grandchildren and
    two great grandchildren.
    The funeral was held from
    Meyen Funeral Home in Randolph,
    Sunday at 2 P. M, with
    burial in Sample Hill cemetery
