    Donald Willis Bowen, 93, of
    Heritage Green Health Care
    Center, formerly of Randolph,
    died Sunday, October 6, 2005
    in Heritage Green.
    He was bom March 10, 1912
    in the Town of Randolph the son
    of George Phillips and Alice
    Bowen.
    He was a graduate of the former
    Vollentine School House in
    Randolph.
    Mr. Bowen was a self employed
    electrician throughout the
    area. He was a member of the
    Grace Episcopal Church in
    Randolph.
    Surviving are two sons: Richard
    Gilbert Bowen and Grant
    Ellis Bowen, both of Randolph,
    five grandchildren: Marjorie
    Cooper, Christine Southwick,
    Larry Shugars, Don Bowen and
    Lisa Nieman; 13 great grandchildren
    and 15 great-great
    grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by
    his wife Ruth Burrow^BewcfT; a
    sister Dorthea Cooper and four
    brothers: Charles Bowen, and
    Harry, Robert and Erie Brown.
    Visitation and funeral services
    were not observed. Inurnment
    was in the Randolph Cemetery.
    Arrangements were by the Van
    Rensselaer & Son Funeral
    Home.
    Memorials may be sent to the
    Randolph Rescue Squad.

    Charles F. Bowen, one of the younger
    and progressive farmers of this
    township, died at his home in the south
    part of Randolph Tuesday, Nov. 20,
    at 2 o'clock after a lingering illness
    of heart trouble. Mr. Bower was
    youngest son of Mrs. Lillian T. Bowen,
    his father Lewis Bowen, having died
    in recent years..
    Deceased was 30 years old and had
    lived hiss entire life in this county;
    his first years being spent in the vicin-
    ity of Ellicottville. For seven years
    he has made Randolph his home.
    He is survived by his mother, his
    wife, Mrs. Alice Hall Bowen, two
    children, Donald aged five years, and
    Dorothea aged three years. Also by
    three sisters,, Mrs. Maud Parsons, Mrs.
    Edna Grover and Mrs. Ruth Wright
    of Buffalo; he has a brother, Harold
    Bowen, at Buffalo.
    The funeral will be conducted this
    afternoon at the home at 2 o'clock;
    burial at Sample Hill cemetery.

    Mn. Lillian Thomas Bowen,
    wife of the late Lewis Bowen,
    formerly of Ellicottville and vicinity,
    passed away at her home
    in Randolph, Friday, after a long
    illness.
    Mn. Bowen was the mother of
    Mrs. Maud Carr with whom she
    madĂȘ her home. She was also
    the mother of the late Mrs. Edna
    Martin, Mrs. Ruth Yoos, Charles
    Bowen and Harold Bowen.
    Bowen would have been
    ninety-seven on February 1st.
    She leaves one sister,
    Hattie Bowen, Collegedale,
    Tenn.; eight grandchildren and
    two great grandchildren.
    The funeral was held from
    Meyen Funeral Home in Randolph,
    Sunday at 2 P. M, with
    burial in Sample Hill cemetery
