at The Lockport Memorial Hospital.
He is survived by h i s
wife, Helen (nee Maass) Four
sons and one daughter, Leonard
L., Lockport; Milton A., at
h o m e ; Roger A., Lockport;
Mrs. Marvin (Joyce) Sweryda,
Webster, N.Y.; and Lester A.,
U.S. Army. Seven grandchildren.
Also two brothers, W i 1-
liam and Frederick B o w e r,
both of Lockport. Two sisters,
Mrs. Charles Peterson a nd
Mrs. Florence Rask, both of
Canada. Friends may call at
their convenience at his late
residence 6691 Moyer Rd where
the funeral will be held Friday
afternoon at 2:00 P.M. and
2:30 P.M. at The Evangelical
United Brethren Church, Rapids.
Interment in Dysingers
Cemetery.

A lifetime resident of the
Town of Royal ton, Lester H.
Bower, 57, of 6691 Moyer Road,
died this morning (May 4,
1965) at Lockport Memorial Hospital
after a short illness.
Born Feb. 6, 1908 in the Town
of Royalton, he was the son of
Frederick and Mina Rensink
Bower. He and the former Helen
Maass were married 35 years
ago.
Mr. Bower had been employed
for the past 24 years as a
welder at the National Gypsum
Co., Clarence Center. He was
a member of the Akron Masonic
Lodge and of Evangelical
United Brethren Church at the
Rapids.
Besides his widow, he leaves
a daughter, Mrs. Marvin Sweryda
of Webster; four sons, Leonard
L- and Roger A., both of
Lockport, Milton A., at home,
Lester A. Jr. of the U.S. Army
and seven grandchildren.
Also surviving are two brothers,
William and Frederick, both
of Lockport, and two sisters,
Mrs. Charles Peterson and Mrs.
Florence Rask of Canada.
Friends may call at their convenience
at the residence on
Moyer Road, where funeral services
wilt be held at 2 p.m. Friday
and at 2:30 at the Evangelical
United Brethren Church at
the Rapids. The Rev. James
Burdick will officiate.
Burial will be in Dysinger
Cemetery.
