The First Presbyterian Church was the setting for
the double-ring wedding ceremony Saturday evening at
7.30 uniting in marriage Miss Joan Ann Flechsenhaar
and Leonard Lester Bower. The candlelight service was
performed by Dr. Stephen E. Palmer before the altar
enhanced by two vases of red and white gladioli
    and fern.
    Mr. and Mrs George Edward
    Flechsenhaar of 98 Church St.
are the parents of the bride. The
    groom's parents are Mr. and
Mrs. Lester Bower of the Mover
    Rd., Lockport.
The bride was given in msrriage
    by her father. A bateau
    neckline, trimmed with alencon
    lace, distinguished the fitted bodice
of the silk organza gown worn
by the bride. Lace appliques detailed
    the floor-length skirt beaded
    with pearls.
Her veil of silk illusion was
caught to a coronet of seed pearls
and sequins. She carried a cascade
    bouquet of white roses and
    shasta daisies sprinkled with ivy.
    HONOR ATTENDANT
    As her honor attendant, the
bride chose Mrs. Jacob A. Schaber.
She wore a gown of aqua
    silk organza fashioned with a
    scoop neckline, cummerbund and
    fly-away panels. The bouffant
    skirt was cocktail-length. An aqua
    headband with matching forgetme-
    nots, studded with tiny
    pearls, completed her attire and
she carried a cascade bouquet of
    yellow and white shasta daisies
    sprinkled with ivy.
    Identically attired to that of
    the honor attendant were the
    bridesmaids, Mrs. James W. Bennett,
    and the Misses Jane Bye,
    Carolyn Walker and Joyce Bower,
sister of the groom. They carried
    cascade bouquets of yellow
    shasta daisies sprinkled with ivy.
A cousin of the bride, Susan
Mollosky. was the flower girl. Her
dress was of coral silk organza
    fashioned with a sweetheart neckline
and full skirt. She wore a
    headband of yellow and white
shasta daisies, and carried a miniature
    bouquet like that of the
    honor attendant.
Best man was Jacob A. Schaber.
    Ushers were Fred Haas,
    Kenneth Covel, Paul Tothill and
    Milton Bower, brother of the
    groom.
    James Todkill of Barker, soloist,
    was accompanied at the organ
    by Mrs. Ferrin Fraser.
    For her daughter's wedding,
    Mrs. Flechsenhaar favored an
    orlon sheath turquoise dress with
white polka dots and whits accessories-
    The groom's mother chose
a pink end blue flowered print
    nylon dress with white accessories.
    Pink sweetheart rose corsages
    completed their attire. A
    pink sweetheart rose corsage
    complemented the attire of the
    bride's grandmother, Mrs.
    Charles Flechsenhaar.
    400 GUESTS
A reception for 400 guests was
held at 8:30 at the South Lockport
    Recreation Hall where buffet
    refreshments were served.
    The attendants' bouquets, greens
and a centerpiece of gladioli decorated
    the bride's table. A separate
    table, covered with a turquoise
    cloth, held the four-tiered
wedding cake topped with a miniature
    bride and groom.
When the couple left for a trip
    to Kentucky and Tennessee, the
bride was wearing a black and
    white checked sheath dress, white
accessories and a corsage of red
    sweetheart roses. They will reside
    at 12 Grosvenor St.
    Guests were from Syracuse,
    Rochester, Buffalo and Akron.
    The bride was graduated from
    Lockport Senior High School and

riety showers given by Mrs. Ed
win Stern at her home on the
