    On Saturday, June 12, the wedding
    of Ida May, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
    William Bowerman, of the Saunders
    Settlement. Road, t o Harry Rigerman
    of LaSalle was solemnized at the
    home of the bride, the Rev. Paul Burt
    officiating.
    Yellow and whits decorations were
    used throughout ths homs and ferns,
    bridal wreathes and iris were banked
    about the predlu where vows were
    exchanged. Preceding the ceremony,
    Mrs. Frederick Bowerman aang the
    "Song of Ruth," by Gounod. Immediately
    after the solo, at 4:30 p. m. the
    birdai party approached to the strains
    of ths Lohengrin bridal music played
    by Misa Mina Mudge.
    The bride, given In marriage by her
    father, wore a gown of ailver white
    taffeta with lace, and a wreath of
    orange blossoms adorned h«r hair.
    She carried a ahower bouquet of
    brides' rosea Miss Salome Strauss
    was maid of honor, wearing Frsncb
    blue taffeta with spray of roses. She
    also wore a wreath and hsr bouquet
    was fssbloned of pink tea roses and
    sweet peas. Little Phyllis Bowsrman
    of Toronto preceded the bridal party
    scatteringg daisies. J. Nelon Bower-
    man attend the groom as best man.
    Later dinner waa served to some
    fifty guests. Twelve were seated at
    the bridal table where yellow and.
    white blossoms in a large silver bowl
    formed the center piece. The groom's
    gift to his bride was a chest of silver,
    while the bride gave a bar pin.
    set with emeralds, to her honor maid
    and a dainty necklace to her flower
    girl. The groom's gift to hia best
    ma'n was a fountain pen.
    After the dinner Mr. and Mrs. Rigerman
    left for a abort trip into
    Pennsylvania and the south, the bride
    wearing a suit of navy blue Polret
    twill with gray squirrel choaker and
    hat to match. After July 1, they will
    be at home at Somerset. Guests attended
    from Casenovla, Toronto, Ont
    Canton, Ohio and La Salle.

    William Henry Bowerman. 89
    years of age. well known Niagara
    county farmer residing on the
    Saunders Settlement road about a
    mile west of Lockport, passed away
    at the City hospital late yesterday
    afternoon, following but little over
    a day's illness. He was working in
    bis garden "Wednesday afternoon
    when stricken. Death was due to
    an intestinal obstruction.
    Mr, Bowerman was born in Nottawasaga,
    Ont., on May 21, 1857, and
    had resided the past 24 years in Niagara
    county. He was a member
    and prominent worker In the First
    Methodist Episcopal church, this
    City.
    Besides his widow Mr. Bowerman
    Is survived by nine sons. Charles,
    Ernest and Harvey, town of Lockport;
    Fred, Toronto, Ont.: Wilfred,
    Beach Ridge; Harold. MapleJon; John
    Percy and Nelson, Cambria; two
    daughters, Mrs. LeRoy Reed, Canton,
    0.; and Mrs. Harry Rigerman,
    town of Somerset; one brother, J.
    Nelson Bowerman, Creemore, Ont.;
    and six sisters, Mrs. James Brest,
    Creemore, Ont.; Mrs. Andrew Craig,
    Toronto, Ont.; Mrs. Harry Blaton.,
    Barry, Ont.; Mrs. Joseph Johnson
    and Mrs. James Smith, Walkersvllle,
    Ont.; and Mrs. Frank Epperly, Cookstown,
    Ont.
    The funeral service will be conducted
    at the family home, at 2:30
    o'clock standard time Saturday afternoon
    and burial will be in Glenwood
    cemetery.

    Mrs. Eliza Bowerman, 77, widow
    of William H. Bowerman. died Monday
    afternoon at 3 o'clock at the
    home of her son, Charles Bowerman,
    Jonnnycake road, Royalton,
    after a long Illness. She was born
    In Canada but had lived in this
    vicinity lor the past 39 years. She
    was a member of Emmanuel Methodist
    Episcopal church.
    Mr. Bowerman died 11 yean ago.
    Surviving are nine sons and two
    daughters, Charles, of Royalton,
    Ernest, Harvey and Percy, town of
    Lockport; Fred, of Toronto; Wilfred,
    of Beach Ridge; Harold, of
    Mapleton, John of Cambria; J
    Nelson, of Lockport; Mrs. Ida M.
    Rigerman of Kenmore and Mrs
    Margaret Reid of Jackson, Mich.
    21 grandchildren; one great grandchild;
    two brothers and one sister
    William and George Simmons of
    Elberta, Can. and Mrs. Margaret
    Sinclair of St. Catharines, Ont.
    The body was taken to the home
    of the son, Ernest Bowerman, Upper
    Mountain road, town of Lockport
    where services will be held.Thursday
    afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. The
    Rev. Paul Morrison, minister of
    Emmanuel church, will officiate.
    Burial will be in Glenwood ceme-
    tery.
