    The parsonage of Ridgewood
    Immanuel Church was die scene
    of die marriage on Saturday, of
    Miss Nancy Joyce Bowes, daughter
    of Mr. and Mrs. William
    Bowes. Ridge Rd.. to Donald C.
    Davis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sairman
    Davis of Alexandria Bay,
    NY. Vows were repeated before
    the Rev. August P. Kreutr.
    Given in marriage by her father,
    the bride wore a street length
    dress of ivory embossed taffeta,
    featuring a scoop neckline and a
    full gathered sktrt. A head clip
    of nylon leaves studded with
    pearls held a small circular veil.
    Pink and white rosebuds formed
    her corsage.
    The brides' cousin, Mrs. Jay
    Goodrich, Lyndonville, chose a
    street length dress of toast embosbossed
    taffeta .styled similary to
    the bride's gown. A small contrasting
    feathered hat and a corsage
    of pink rosebuds completed her
    attire.
    Acting as best man for Mr.
    Davis was Jay Goodrich.
    For her daughter's wedding,
    Mrs. Bowes favored a charcoal
    gray wool dress with black accesories.
    Yellow rosebuds formed
    her corsage.
    The reception was held at the
    home of the bride's parents. A
    three tiered wedding cake topped
    with a miniature bride and bridegroom
    centered the bride's table.
    Assisting at the reception was
    Mrs. Louis Herman, Mrs. Gordon
    Herman, Mrs. Max Hubbert and
    Mrs. Edward Bowes.
    Out-of-town guests attended
    from Oakfield, Medina, Tonawanda,
    Newfane and Alexandria Bay.
    After a short wedding trip to
    Canada, Mr. and Mrs. Davis will
    reside on Lockport-Olcott Rd.,
    Newfane.
    The bride is a graduate of Newfane
    Central School. The bridegroom
    served two years in the
    U.S. Navy.
    Variety showers were given by
    Mrs. Jay Goodrich, and Mrs. Edward
    Bowes, 280 Grand St. A
    linen shower was given by Mrs.
    Kenneth Hillman, Newfane.
