    The funeral of Samuel Bowler, 73,
    of 62 Roby street former International
    Railway company lineman,
    who died at 6:30 Sunday morning
    after an illness of several months
    will be held tomorrow afternoon at
    2:30 at the home of his daughter,
    Mrs. Leonard Gliddon, 16 Gram
    street. Burial will be in Cold
    Springs cemetery.
    Mr. Bowler was employed by the
    railway company for 25 years prior
    to his retirement about seven years
    ago.
    Surviving are three daughters,
    Mrs. A. P. Beader, Royal Oak, Mich.;
    Mrs. Leonard Gliddon and Miss
    Mary Bowler, Lockport; two sons,
    William Bowler, Buffalo, and Elmer
    Bowler, Lockport; three sisters, Mrs
    William H. Bemmette, Philadelphia;
    Mrs. George Robinson, Tltusville,
    Pa.; and Mrs. Frank Lambert,
    Lockport; and two brothers, Richard
    and Garfield Bowler, Lockport.

    Samuel married KINNEY, Lucy Belle on 18 Oct 1889 in Lockport, Niagara County, NY. Lucy (daughter of KINNEY, David) was born about 1870 in New York; died on 10 May 1934 in Lockport, Niagara County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    Last evening, Oct. 18th, a number of invi-
    ted guests assembled at tbe residence of Mr.
    David Kinney, corner of Chappel and Clint
    o n streets, t o witness the marriage of their
    daughter, Miss Bell Kinney, t o Mr. Samuel
    Bowler of Cleveland, Ohio. Mr. Samuel
    Argue assisted as groomsman and Miss Nettie
    Kinnie as bridesmaid. The ceremony was
    performed by Rev. T. R. Strattou of this
    city. Tbe bride is one of Lockport's
    most popular yonng ladies. She has
    a large circle of admiring young friends
    whose congratulations will follow her
    t o the home she is so well adapted
    and qualified t o make pleasant aud heppy
    with her sunny smiles end loving disposition-
    The happy couple left town on t h e 7 o'clock
    train Ibis morning for Cleveland, which is
    to be their future residence.

    Lockpioxt. Feb, 17.-Mrs. Eliza Mapes
    Bowler, who was fatally burned at her
    home in North Transit road yesterday,
    her seventy-sixth birthday, died early
    today at her home. No one was present
    in the kitchen where It is presumed
    het dress caught fire, it is believed
    while seh was taking meat from the
    even or fixing the fire, although her
    sister, Mrs. Mary Smith, who lived with
    her was in another part of the house
    at the time. *
    Mrs. Bowler was first noticed by a
    daughter, Mrs Edward Weaver, who
    lives on the opposite side of the road,
    from her home, who saw, her rolling
    in the snow. She ran to her mother's
    assistance and extinguished flames
    which enveloped her. but not before
    the woman was badly burned in all
    parts of the body. Although partly
    conscious at first. Mrs. Bowler was unable
    to tell how she received her burns,
    owing to her sufferings.
    Deceased was the widow of Vincent
    Bowler and is survived by five sons,
    George, Samuel, Richard and Garfield
    Bowler and Former Supervisor Vincent
    Bowler, all of Lockport; four daughters.
    Mrs. Edward Weaver and Mrs.
    Frank Lambert, this city; Mrs. William
    Bennett, Philadelphia, Pa.; Mrs.
    George Robinson, Titusville, Pa., and.
    one brother, James Mapes of North
    Dakota. Also by two sisters, Delia.
    Mapes of North Dakota and Mrs. Mary
    Smith, this city. The funeral will be
    held tomorrow afternoon from the residence
    of her son, Vincent Bowler, Old
    Niagara road, with Interment at Cold
    Spring cemetery.
