Mr. Page was a member of the Millennium Lodge No. 1179, F&AM. He was "BOBO" the Clown for the Masons, a WWII veteran with the Coast Guard and retired from the Town Of Tonawanda Water Dept after 33 years. In lieu of flowers, memorials made to Roswell Park Cancer Institute.

    Funeral services will be
    conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday in
    the Elmlawn Cemetery chapel,
    Town of Tonawanda, for
    William H. Bowler, 80.
    Mr. Bowler, who resided on
    Colvin Boulevard in the town,
    died Tuesday in the Veterans'
    Administration Hospital in
    Buffalo, where he had been a
    patient four days.
    A Lockport native, Mr. Bowler
    served in the Mexican Border
    Campaign in 1916, and during
    World War I Army service he
    was honored by the French and
    U.S. governments for heroism.
    Mr. Bowler was a past com-
    • mander of both the John Maxwell
    VFW Post in Buffalo and
    the Ken-Ton Barracks, World
    War I Veterans.
    He retired in 1957 as an
    electrician with the Niagara
    Frontier Transit System.
    Surviving is a daughter, Mrs.
    Charles R. Page of the Town of
    Tonawanda.

    Mrs. Florence A. Bowler, 52, of
    30 Orchard PL, active here to veterans
    post auxiliaries, died yesterday in
    General Hospital after a month's illness.
    Born in Buffalo, Mrs. Bowler was
    graduated from Lafayette High School.
    She was past president of John Maxwell
    Post 452, VFW Auxiliary, and
    a member* of Louis J. Boland Post
    258, American Legion Auxiliary;
    Highland Park Chapter 403, Order of
    Eastern Star; Kenmore Court 113,
    Order of Amaranth; Edna Rebekah
    Lodge, Independent Order of Odd
    Fellows, and Mitra Zuanna 66, Ladies
    of the Orient.
    She is survived by her husband,
    William H. Bowler, a daughter, Mrs.
    Isabella Page, and three brothers,
    Fred C. McCiellan, George B. Mc-
    Cteltea of Derby and William Mc-
    Ckllan of Los Angeles.
    The Rev. John R. Neubert, pastor
    of Central Park Baptist Church, will
    conduct services at 2 p. m. Monday
    ia the Buffalo Crematorium, 901 West
    Delavan Ave.

    The marriage of Miss Florence Mc-
    Clellan,, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
    John W. McClellan of 66 York St.,
    Buffalo, to Mr. William H. Bowler,
    formerly of this city, was solemnized
    yesterday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock,
    the Rev. O. W. Jones of the First
    Baptist Church performing the cere-
    mony in the presence of some 30 im-
    mediate relatives and friends.
    The bride wore her travailing suit
    of taupe broadcloth with corsage of
    Killarney roses. Miss Isabelle McClel-
    lan was her sister's maid and Mr
    Harold Hooven acted as best man.
    Immediately following the cere-
    mony a supper was served, the ride's
    table seating 12, being centered with
    the wedding cake.
    Mr. and Mrs. Bowler left later amid
    a shower of rice and good wishes for
    a wedding trip to Detroit. They will
    be at home in Buffao after Oct 1st.
    Among the out of town guests were
    Mr.. and Mrs. Samuel Bowler, daugh-
    ters Lucille and Mry, Mr. and Mrs.
    Vincent Bowler, Mrs. Emma McClel-
    lan and daughter Helen Jane and
    Miss E. Wayman of this city.

    The funeral of Samuel Bowler, 73,
    of 62 Roby street former International
    Railway company lineman,
    who died at 6:30 Sunday morning
    after an illness of several months
    will be held tomorrow afternoon at
    2:30 at the home of his daughter,
    Mrs. Leonard Gliddon, 16 Gram
    street. Burial will be in Cold
    Springs cemetery.
    Mr. Bowler was employed by the
    railway company for 25 years prior
    to his retirement about seven years
    ago.
    Surviving are three daughters,
    Mrs. A. P. Beader, Royal Oak, Mich.;
    Mrs. Leonard Gliddon and Miss
    Mary Bowler, Lockport; two sons,
    William Bowler, Buffalo, and Elmer
    Bowler, Lockport; three sisters, Mrs
    William H. Bemmette, Philadelphia;
    Mrs. George Robinson, Tltusville,
    Pa.; and Mrs. Frank Lambert,
    Lockport; and two brothers, Richard
    and Garfield Bowler, Lockport.

    train Ibis morning for Cleveland, which is
    to be their future residence.
