    Camden, Nov. 25.-At 10:30
    o'clock on the morning of Thanksgiving
    day, at the rectory of St.
    John's Church, took place the marriage
    of Miss Marian C. Harrington,
    daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bert
    C. Harrington, of Washington St.,
    and Alexander A. Bowman, only
    son of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Bowman
    of Rome, the Rev. John L. Powers
    officiating. The attending couple
    were Miss Florence Bowman of
    Rome, sister of the groom, and
    Ernest Ludlow of Taberg. The
    bride was gowned in navy blue
    crepe trimmed with velvet and the
    bridesmaid was similarly attired.
    Only the immediate relatives were
    present at the ceremony, immediately
    after the ceremony a Thanksgiving
    dinner was served at the
    home of the bride's parents. After
    a wedding trip to Vermont, the
    young couple will be at the home
    of the bride's parents for a short
    time before taking up their residence
    in Rome.
    The bride has been popular saleslady
    in the dry goods store of C.
    A. & A.-C. Phelps. The bridegroom
    is in the employ of the
    Rome Hardware and Implement
    Co. Many friends extend best
    wishes and congratulations. A few
    days before the wedding a variety
    shower was given In honor of the
    bride by Mrs. Edward Harrington.

    ROME-Guy W. Bowman, 82,
    of 106 W. Fox St, a retired
    barn equipment salesman, died
    yesterday in a Utica hospital.
    He was born in Rupert, Vt
    He came to Rome as a boy. He
    Married Nina M. Annis in 1906
    in McConnellsville. She died in
    1960. He was a salesman for
    the Hunt, Kelm & Ferris co.,
    Harvard, Ill., farm equipment
    manufacturers, before he re-
    tired in 1948. He was a member
    of the golden Age Club, Rome
    Senior Citizens.
    Ha leaves a daughter, Mrs.

    Donald (Florence) Neringer,
    Rome; a son, Alexander A.
    Bowman, Rome, and two sisters,
    ters, Mrs. William Kellmurray,
    and Mrs. Irene Nelson, both of
    Utica.
    The funeral will be at 3 to-
    morrow in the Griffin & Ald-
    ridge Funeral Home with the
    Rev. Charles Sykes, pastor of
    Zion Episcopal Church, officiat-
    ing. Burial will be in Wright
    Settlement Cemetery.
    Calling hours are from 2 to
    4 and 7 to 9 today.

    Guy married ANNIS, Nina M on 1 Apr 1906 in McConnellsville, Oneida County, NY. Nina (daughter of ANNIS, James Atwell and FLANAGAN, Mary Anna) was born on 25 May 1888 in North Bay, Oneida County, NY; died on 5 Jan 1960 in Rome, Oneida County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    man. 71, of 108 W. Fox St..
    died Tuesday in Rome Hos-
    pital after a short illness
    She was born May 25. 1888.
    in North Bay, daughter of
    Atwell and Mary Ann Flana-
    gan Annis. She was married
    april 1, 1906, in Mcconnells-
    ville to Guy W. Bowman, who
    survives.
    She had lived in Rome
    since 1907.
    Mrs. Bowman was a mem-
    ber of the Skillin Relief Corps,
    the Auxiliary of the Lake
    Delta Fire Department, and of
    the Progressive Associstion
    of Lake Delta.
    She leaves her husband; a
    daughter, Mrs. Donald Nevin-
    ger; a son, Alexander a. Bow-
    man, and a sister, Mrs. Elma
    g. Hemingway, all of Rome;
    three grandchildren; a great
    grandchild.
    The funeral will be at 2
    Saturday from the Griffin &
    Aldridge Funeral Home, 209
    N. Washington St. Burial will
    be in Wright Settlement
    Cemetery.

    from 7 to 9 and tomorrow
    from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9.
