    NIAGARA FALLS - Marie A. (Deuro) Bailey, 80, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2014, at Schoellkopf Health Center, Niagara Falls, NY. She was born August 3, 1933 in Niagara Falls, NY, and was the daughter of the late Margaret (Bongiovanni) and Frank Deuro. Marie attended Niagara Street School, Gaskill Junior High School and graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1951.

    Marie worked as a Telephone Operator for the Carborundum Corporation (also played baseball and bowled for them), and as a Bus Aide for the B.O.E. for about 15 years. She then worked as a Cook for Niagara Geriatrics for about 16 years, until her retirement in 1995. She belonged to the Golden Age Club, did volunteer work for HANCI and was a member of the R.S.V.P. Swat Team. She also belonged to Our Lady of the Rosary and Our Lady of Lebanon Seniors. Marie loved going on trips, to casinos, bingo, reading mystery books and spending time with her family.

    She is survived by her beloved daughter, Kim Marie (Mark) McKibbin and beloved son, Robert A. Bailey, Jr., both of Niagara Falls, NY; beloved grandchildren, Stephen (Jackie Bradley) McKibbin and Daryl (Rachel) Bailey; step-grandchildren, Rebecca McKibbin and Matthew (Carolene) McKibbin; great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Stephen James, Aiden McKibbin and Ayana Bailey; sister, Carrie A. (late Roman) Szalach; brothers, Frank (late Lottie) and John (Jeri) Deuro, all of Niagara Falls, NY. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great- nieces and nephews; cousins, aunts and uncles.

    No Prior Visitation. A memorial Mass will take place Wednesday, July 9, at 12:30 PM at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary & Joseph Parish (Mt. Carmel site), 2486 Independence Ave., Niagara Falls, NY 14301, with Rev. Duane Klizek officiating. Burial in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston, NY, will take place at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marie's memory may be made to Community Missions of Niagara Frontier Inc., 1570 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY 14303. Arrangements entrusted to ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME INC.

    uouble-nng ceremony uniting
    the daughter of Mrs.
    Frank Deuro, LaSalle Avenue,
    and the son of Mr. and
    Mrs. Alvin Bailey, Girard
    Avenue.
    « Given in marriage by her
    brother, Frank Deuro, the
    bride wore a street-length
    gown of powder-blue nylon
    chiffon. A band of satin
    bows held her double illusion
    veil and she carried
    a white prayerbook topped
    with a white orchid, stephanotis
    and ivy. .
    Mrs. Roman Szalach was
    matron of honor for her
    sister gowned in royal-blue
    chiffon with a matching
    headpiece and bouquet of
    white roses.
    Richard Bailey, the bridegroom's
    brother, was best
    man.
    A reception was held for
    the families of the bridal
    couple at the home of the
    bride's sister, Mrs. Szalach,
    and Mr. S z a l a c h.
