    WILSON. April 5. - Thirty-three
    gathered at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
    Frank Zimmerman, parents of Mrs.
    Vernon Boyer. recently married, for
    a variety shower. The affair was given
    by the bride's three sisters. Mrs.
    Ray Terwilllger. Mrs. Frank Carlton
    and Mrs. Richard Beutel, The hours
    of entertainment were from 8 until
    12 o'clock.
    Bridge, five hundred and bingo were
    played, prhses for these were swarded
    to Mrs. Overand. of Lockport, Mrs.
    Frank Zimmerman and Miss Rose
    Mary Vogt, of Olcott. A midnight
    supper was served from two long
    tables decorated in green and purple,
    with Easter favors.
    Mrs. Boyer received ft guest priw4
    and a great many attractive gifts.
    Guests were present from Olcott,
    Lockport. Lewiston, Ransomville. Middleport
    and Buffalo.
    Mr. and Mrs.. Boyer have taken up
    their residence at Main street, Olcott

    A retired supervisor of the
    Harrison Radiator Division, Gen-
    eral Motors Corp.,, Walter C.. Boy-
    er, 75, of 5638 West Main St.,, Ol-
    cott, died Sunday (April 14, 1963)
    in Mount View Hospital following
    a long illness.
    He had been an employe at
    Harrisonn's for nine years and had
    retired in 1955 as a supervisor.
    He previously worked as a sales-
    man for 27 years with the Merritt
    Engineering Co.
    Mr. Boyer would have celebrated
    his 76th birthday Thursday.
    He was born at the Rapids,
    son of Frederick and Laura
    Leimbach Boyer on April 18, 1887.
    He was a member of the Lockport
    Aerie 825, FOE and the G-9
    Club at Harrison's.
    Surviving are his widow, Edith
    Overend Boyer; one son, Vernon
    Boyer of Olcott; four grandchildren
    and two great - grandchildren.

    and Kandt Funeral Home, 242
    Genesee St., from 2-4 and 7-9
    p.m. The Rev. Phillip Mitchell,
    pastor of the Olcott Methodst
    Church, will officiate at a funeral
    service Wednesday at 2 p.m. Burial
    will be in Wright's Corners
    Cemetery.

    RANSOMVILLE, May 31—Mr.
    and Mrs. Frank Zimmerman, Randall
    road, will entertain at an open
    house June 8 from 2 to 5 and 7 lo
    9 p. m. in honor of their fiftieth
    wedding anniversary. Friends and
    relatives arc invited to attend.
    Mr. and Mrs. Zimmerman were
    married on June 4, 1902. at North
    Ridge. Mr. Zimmerman is a retired
    farmer.
    The honored couple have six
    living children: Arthur Zimmerman.
    Olcotf, Mrs. Ray Terwilliger and
    Mrs. Vernon Boyer. Lockport; Mrs.
    Richard Beutel. Mrs. Frank Carlton,
    Warren's Corners, and William
    Zimmerman, Lewiston. They have
    16 grandchildren.
    On Wednesday a dinner will be
    held for Mr. and Mrs. Zimmerman
    at Green Acres, Burt. Attending
    will be members of the immediate
    family and three of the six attend-
    ants at the wedding of 50 years ago.

    The funeral of Fred O,-Boyer, 70,
    well known farmer of the Akron
    road, town of Lockport, who died
    suddenly at 11 o'clock Friday night
    In his home of an acute heart
    attack, was held at 8 o'clock this
    afternoon at the Prudden Funeral
    home, 242 Genesee street. The Rev.
    Ivan L. Lange of the First English
    Lutheran church officiated. Burial
    was in Chestnut Ridge cemetery.
    The bearers, all nephews, were:
    Walter Riley, Olenn Strlffler. Roy
    strifrier, Floyd Strlffler, Olenn Kinney
    and Roger Boyer.
    Mr. Boyer was born Aug. 27, 1865,
    son of Oeorge and Harriet Parker
    Boyer, in the town of Lockport, near
    Warren's corners, but had lived in
    the Akron road for the past 48 years.
    Surviving are his widow, Laura
    Lelnbftuch Boyer; one son, Walter
    Boyer of Olcott; ons daughter, Mrs.
    Charles lieeks of Lookport and four
    grandchildren.
