    The marriage of Miss Ruth Marie
    Harris, daughter of Mrs Geneva
    Canaski of I Niagara St., and
    James Frederick Boyer, son of
    Mr. and Mrs. Karl F. Boyer of
    Hosmer Road. Gasport, was solemnized
    at 10 o'clock Saturday
    morning in St. Patrick's Church.
    The Very Rev Msgr. John P. Ken
    nedy officiated before an altar
    adorned with roses and gladioli
    A gown of white nylon net over
    nylon taffeta was worn by the
    bride for the ceremony, and her
    fingertip veil also was of nylon
    net. She carried white carnations
    and lily-of the-valley with white
    satin streamer.
    Miss Patricia Yanicki was maid
    of honor in a gown of blue net with
    matching mitts and headpiece. She
    had a pink rose bud and carnation
    corsage.
    The best man was Robert Tomaino,
    and Richard Tomaino of
    Burt and Larry E. Harris were
    ushers.
    Mrs. Canaski chose a dress of
    black crepe and Mrs. Boyer a
    black and white print. Each wore
    accessories to match her dress
    and a corsage of pink carnations
    and rose buds.
    A wedding dinner was served at
    the Wright's Corners Hotel.
    The bride favored a brown box
    suit with pink accessories and a
    white carnation corsage for travel-
    ing. The couple will reside at 48
    Cottage Street.
    The bride and groom both at-
    tended Lockporrt school, the
    groom serving with the U.. S. Ma-
    rine Corps,, overseas, with a cor-
    poral rating.

    (Pat) Boyer, 81. of 95 Webb
    St.. died Thursday (Dec. 7,
    1967) in Lockport Memorial Hospital,
    where he had been a patient
    for the last six weeks.
    He was born Aug. 24. 1886. in
    North Tonawanda. and had
    lived here for the last 50 years.
    Mr* Boyer was a retired experimental
    machinist with Simonds
    Saw and Steel Co., where
    he had been employed for 21
    years. He retired in i960.
    He was a member of the
    Turtle Club here and of Tioga
    Tribe No. 289, Redmen.
    Survivors include his wife,
    Mary; a daughter, Mrs. Cortland
    Wilson, this city, and a
    son, Carl F. Boyer, Hartland;
    a brother, Norman Boyer, Middleport,
    and three sisters, Mrs.
    Lavina Wagner, Sanborn; Mrs.
    Cora Goerss, North Tonawanda,
    and Mrs. Amanda Walgast,
    Tonawanda; seven grandchil-
    dren, 18 great-grandchildren
    and several nieces and nephews.
    Friends may call from 2 to
    4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Prud-
    den and Kandt Funeral Home,
    where services will be held at
    3 p.m. Saturday. Burial will
    be in Bear Ridge Cemetery.

    LOCKPORT-A cerebral hemorrhage
    suffered yesterday afternoon
    while she was visiting at the home
    of her brother-in-law. Norman Boycr.
    Lake road. Wilson. N. Y., resulted
    in the death of Mrs. Carrie
    Boyer. 55, wife of Seymour Boyer.
    95 Webb street, early this morning
    at the Lockport City hospital.
    Mrs. Boyer was born In the town
    of Amherst and attended school
    there. After her marriage she re-
    sided In the town of Pendleton, before
    coming to this city. She was a
    member of St. Peter's Evangelical
    church.
    Besides her husband, she leaves a
    daughter. Mrs. Cortland Wilson, of
    this city; a son. Private Karl Boyer,
    U. S. Army; her mother, Mrs. Lena
    Halm, town of Amherst, and three
    brothers. Harvey and Elmer Halm,
    of North Tonawanda, and Alvln
    Halm, of Amherst.
    Services will be held Wednesday
    at 2:30 p. m. at the home. Burial
    will be In Bear Ridge cemetery
