Joseph "Joe" Bruno, 77, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Friday, July 18, 2014 at N.F. Memorial Medical Center. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Patrick and Angeline (Surage) Bruno.
Joe was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY. He attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1955. His father owned a gas station for many years and from a very early age Joe acquired a keen interest in cars from working alongside his dad. He was employed as a mechanic and gained knowledge about the operations of a service station. In 1962, Joe followed in his dad's footsteps and became the owner of his own gas station, Bruno's Mobil Station on Pine Avenue which he managed for more than fifty years. During that time, his station became like a second home for him and from 1990 through 1993 Bruno's Mobil was the number one dealer in the country. On October 19, 1998, he married his loving companion Elena (DiLaura) Bruno in Las Vegas, NV. Joe was a lifetime member of the Sertoma Club. He was an avid New York Yankees fan and loved spending time with his dog "Little Louie," whom will miss him dearly.
In addition to his wife, Joe is survived by four children, Vicki (Larry Geracitano, Jr.) Kinan, Angel Alexis, Angela (Ray) Bruno-Casale, Scott Bruno and was predeceased by his son, Joseph Bruno. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Amber Kinan, Larry Geracitano, Patrick Lorenti, Rose Lorenti, Matthew Alexis and Rylie Alexis, Chantel Bruno, Anthony Bruno and Joey Bruno; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Anita D'Amura and Patricia (Robert) Augustino; one brother, Robert (Patricia) Bruno; father-in-law, John "Jack" DiLaura; sisters-in-law, MaryJo (Larrie) Dawkins and Marguerite (Jack) Hicks; brothers-in-law, Ronald (Lori) DiLaura and Moe (Donna) DiLaura; dear friends, Gus Fotus, Neal Witbeck and Sam Civiletto; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be on Monday from 3-8 PM at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd at 10 AM with Rev. Duane R. Klizek officiating. Entombment in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.

Rose M. Bruno, 85, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away at her residence on February 6, 2022.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Victoria (Lesiak) Siejka.
Rose was a 1955 graduate of LaSalle Senior High School.  She earned a degree from Niagara County Community College in Criminal Justice.  She was employed as a secretary for the New York Power Authority and later worked in the Niagara County Family Court / Unified Court System as a Court Attendant for 23 years until her retirement in 2010.  Rose was a force to be reckoned with.  She was an early member of the National Organization for Women (NOW) and a longtime member of the Youngstown Rip and Stitch Quilt Club, where she spent many joyous hours with her closest friends.  She also was an American history buff, enjoyed to travel with her sisters, was an avid golfer, and loved to garden.
Rose is survived by her children, Victoria Kinan (Larry Geracitano II), Angela Bruno-Casal (Ray Casal), and Scott Bruno (Yvonne); her grandchildren, Amber Kinan, Larry Geracitano III, Patrick Lorenti (Kristine), Rosemarie Lorenti, Chantell Bruno, Anthony Bruno, and Joseph Bruno; her great grandchildren, Ashley Kinan, Keith Kinan, and John Kinan; her great-great grandchildren, Anthony and Alexander; her sisters, Maryann Pradelski, Patricia Chambers, and Victoria Siejka, as well as by several nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was predeceased by her son Joseph Bruno, Jr., her former husband and dear friend, Joseph P. Bruno, and her brother, Richard Siejka.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 11 from 3 – 7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304, where funeral services will be held at 7 PM.  Private interment in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lewiston, NY at the convenience of the family.  Visit mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
