Mrs. Alma Bowen Bridgeman, aged
75, passed away unexpectedly at her
home in Clarendon on Thursday, Oct.
4, 1951. She was born in Churchville
on Oct. 31, 1875, and was married in
Clarendon to David H. Bridgeman on
March 28, 1897. They celebrated their
54th wedding anniversary last. March.
Besides her husband, she is survived
by two sons, David M. Bridgeman
of Clarendon and Robert G. Bridgeman
of Rochester; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at her
late home Sunday afternoon at 2:30
p. m. and burial was made in Hillside
Cemetery.

Mr. and Mrs. David H. Bridgeman
celebrated their Golden Wedding an-
nivversary Friday,, March 28, 1947, at
te home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert
G. Brdgeman of Albion,, where open
houe was eld from 2 to 10 P.M.
Guests included neighbors, relatives,
former business associates and
friends from Buffalo, Rochester, By
ron, Clarendon, Charlotte, Albion and
Holley.
David H Brdgeman was born in
the town of Greece, Monroe County,
the son of David Sr. and Mary Jane
Bridgeman. When a small boy he
moved with his parents to Claren-
don where he attended public school.
At an early age he went to Roches-
ter for employment.
Alma Bowen Bridgeman was born
in Churchville, the daughter of Guy
S. and Hattie Bowen. When a smal
cild she moved with her parents to
Clarendon where she attended pub-
lic school.
Mr. and Mrs.. Brdgeman were mar-
ried by the Rev. Odell, then pastor of
the Clarendon church. They were
attended by W. N. Housel, nnow of
Clarendon and Carie Allen, now
Mrs. Roy Darch of Byron, who was
also guest at the party.
After their marriage they made
their home in Rochester where Mr.
Bridgeman worked for the National
Biscuit Co. and Loose-Wiles Bakaing
Co as salesman.
They have two sons; David Mar-
tin, electrician andn assessor, who
lives in Clarendon; and Robert G.
Who owns aand operated Bob's Bak-
ery at Albion.
Mr. and Mrs. Bridgeman have four
grandchildren, keene, Staryl, Avis,
and Stuart Bridgeman. Over 75
guests enjoyed the visit.
