Ave., Lorrain, Ohio, a native
of Clayton, died Saturday In
Tiffin, Ohio.
The funeral will be Tues
day at 10:30 a.m. at the Cummings
Funeral Home and at
11 in St. Mary's Church, Burial
will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral
home today from 3 to 5
and 7 to 9 p.m.
Surviving is his daughter
Mrs. Walter (Helen) Bucheit,
Lorain, Ohio, with wom
he had lived since the death
of his wife, Helen, in August,
1971 at Santa Barbara, Calif.
A sister and two brothers
predeceased him - Mrs. William
M. (Lucy) Spain, Oct. 9,
1966, at age 80 and Walter
Amo, former C l a y t o n postmaster,
Dec. 17, 1966, aged 73
and Lloyd W. Amo, May 30,
1969, aged 65 years.
Born Oct. 3, 1896 in Clayton,
son of Louis and Anna
Brabant Amo. he attended local
schools. Mr. Amo, retired,
was a former marine chief
engineer on the Great Lakes.
He was a life member of the
Order of Elks and a member
of the K. of C.

Gordon married Helen about 1928. Helen was born about 1902 in WA; died in Aug 1971 in Santa Barbara, Baja County, CA. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

Louis married BRABANT, Anna about 1876. Anna (daughter of BRABANT, Leander and Clophia) was born about 1860 in Jefferson County, NY; and died. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

Clayton. Dec. 31- Mr. and Mrs.
Louis Amo, prominent residents of
Theresa street, this village, for
over 50 years, will hold a family
reunion on New Year's day In observance
of their 53rd wedding anniversary.
A family dinner will be
served at noon.
The children of the couple,
Herbert Amo of Watertown; Gor-
don o f Cleveland: George of Roch-
ester; Walter and Lloyd of Clay-
ton; Mrs. Samuel Denny and Mrs.
William Spain of Clayton are expected
to attend.
Mr. Amo is a contractor in masonry
work. They were married in
this village 53 years ago and have
resided here since. Mrs. Amo was
Miss Anna Brabant before her
marriage. Both are enjoying good
health and still very active.
