    for Myjes W. Dewey Sr., 65, of RD 1
    Shortsville, who died yesterday at
    Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester,
    after a long illness, will be Monday at 2
    p.m. at the Patrick Funeral Home,
    Clifton Springs. The Rev. Ronald
    Woffman, pastor of Clifton Springs
    United Methodist Church, will officiate.
    Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery.
    Friends may call at the funeral home
    Sunday from 7-9 p.m. Memorial contributions
    may be made to Strong
    Memorial Hospital cancer Fund in care
    of the Rochester hospital.
    __Mr. Dewey was born in Farmington
    and resided in this area all his life.
    He was a retired employe of Curtice-
    Burns in Shortsville. He was a member
    of the New York State Clock Assrk ^
    Surviving are his wife, Ida of Short
    sville, one son, Myles Dewey JJr., of
    Clifton Springs; two brothers, LaVerne
    Dewey of Clifton Springs and Charles
    Dewey of Orleans; seven sisters, Mrs.
    Emma Brown and Mrs. Harriet Foster
    of Macedon, Mrs. Mildred Converse of
    Clifton Springs, Miss Lucile Dewey and
    Miss Gladys Dewey, both of Can an
    daigua, Mrs. Blanche Chrisman of
    Canandaigua and Mrs Isobel Edwards
    of Canandaigua, and six grandchildren.

    service for Mrs. Clara Spence
    Braden, 84, who died yesterday
    in the home of her daughter,
    Mrs. Miles Dewey, in Shorts-
    ville, RD, will be held at 2 p.m.
    Saturday from the Weld Funer-
    al Home in Clifton Springs. The
    Rev. Walter S. Mitchell, rector
    of St. Thomas Episcopal Church
    in Bath, and former rector of
    St. John's Church in Clifton
    Springs, will officiate. Burial
    will be in Clifton Springs Cem-
    etery.
    Friends may call at the Weld
    Funeral Home in Clifton Springs
    from 2 to 4 p. m. and from 7 to
    9 p. rn. today and tomorrow.
    Mrs. Braden lived in Clifton
    Springs for a number of years
    before moving to Shortsvile,
    where she has been living for
    the ppast few years with her
    daughter, Mrs. Dewey. She was
    the widow of Lee Braden.
    She is survived by four daugh-
    ters, Mrs. Alton Guier, Bay
    City, Mich., Mrs. Miles Dewey
    of Shortsville, Mrs.. Frank Ser-
    gent of Clifton Springs, and
    Mrs. Claude Johnson of Shorts-
    ville; four sons,, Clarence of
    Niagara Falls; Le of Interlak-
    en, Edward of Syracuse and
    Herbert of Clifton Springs; four
    sisters, Mrs. Donald Anthony
    of Beaver Dam, N.Y., Mrs..
    Raymond Bates of Elmira, Mrs.
    Ethel Vanriper of Waterloo and
    Mrs. Herbert Gallagher of El-
    mira; 12 grandchildren and 16
    great-grandchildren.
