NEWFANE, May St-Mrs. Lester
Hodom, North Main street, Monday
evening, delightfully entertained 14
guests at a variety shower. In honor
of her sister, Miss Leah Krupp of
the Fuller road, whose engagement
to Russell Bradley of Newfane has
been announced.
The evening program featured a
series of games and contests, with
prizes going to Gertrude Cramp and
Mrs. Clayton Niles. Afterwards, a
dainty supper was served from a
table attractive with green and
white decorations, and the honor
guest received many lovely gifts

Joseph married RANDS, Annie about 1878. Annie was born about 1858 in England; died on 12 May 1934 in Town of Newfane, Niagara County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

Mre. Anna Rands Bradley, 78. a
resident of Newfane the past several
years, died suddenly Saturday evening
at her home in West avenue,
that village, of heart disease.
In ill health for some time past.
she hail, however, felt well enough
to call on friends Saturday afternoon,
and she celebrated her birthday
last Tuesday.
She was a native of England, tad
leaves one son, Russell Bradley of
Newfane. The funeral will be conducted
tomorrow afternoon at 3
o'clock, daylight saving time, at the
Duncan A Corwin funeral home,
Newfane. The body will be taken
to Williamsvllle, Erie county, for
burial.
