    Last Saturday afternoon, at the
    homo of Mr. and Mrs. William B. Hill,
    on the Lake road, was solemnized the
    marriage of their daughter Bessie to
    Dr. G. Stanley Bradley of Niagara
    Falls, the Rev. A. W. Allen of the local
    Presbyterian -church performing
    the ceremony. The bride was attired
    In =whlto lansdowno; and carried a
    bouquet of bride's roses and lllic-s-ofthe-
    valley. She was unattended. Following
    a bountiful collation, at which
    covers were laid for nearly 50 guests
    the bride and groom left for a short
    wedding trip, after which they will
    take up their residence in Bingham-
    ton.

    The funeral of William H. Bradley.
    74, of 767 Sixteenth street who died
    this morning about 9 o'clock, after an
    illness lasting more\than two months,
    will be held Friday afternoon at 1:30
    from the home and at 8 o'clock from
    the Church of the Epiphany, the Rev.
    David H. Weeks officiating. Burial
    will be ln Rlverdale.
    Surviving Mr. Bradley are his wife,
    Sarah A. Bradley; four daughters,
    Mrs. James B. Walker, Winter Haven*
    Fla.; Mrs. Ray C. Thompson, .Hast*
    ings-on-the-Hudson, New York; Mrs.
    Arthur A. Batts and Mrs. John WV
    Jenny, both of Niagara Falls; two'
    sons, S. Garnard Bradley and Williams
    A Bradley of Niagara Falls.
    Mr. Bradley was born in Paddlngton,
    near London, England, ln 1853, and
    came to Canada when he was nine
    years old. For some time he and his ;
    family lived at Niagara-on-the-Lake,
    and later removed t o S t Catharines,
    where from Mr. Bradley came to Niagara
    Falls, about 31* years ago. For :
    some years he was a carpentejr, and
    later a millwright For a time he was
    an officer of the local carpenters' union,
    and always had the Interests of
    that organisation at heart*
    He was a member of the Local Union
    of Carpenters and Joiners of America.
    He was associated with Henry
    D. Perky, who invented Shredded
    Wheat, and assisted Mrl Perky In installing
    the first Shredded Wheat
    plants and machinery ln Niagara
    Falls. He was always deeply interested
    ln tho power development here,
    and worked ln the lower milling district
    for many years under the late
    Arthur Schoellkopf.
    While he was of a quiet, retiring disposition,
    Mr. Bradley was very active
    as a churchman, having served as
    vestryman In St. Thomas' church, S t
    Catharines, and Epiphany church, in
    this city, for many years.

    William married BOWMAN, Sarah A about 1878. Sarah was born in Mar 1859 in St Catherines, Lincoln Township, Ontario, Canada; died on 10 Aug 1939 in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    Mrs. Sarah E, Bradley, widow of
    William H. Bradley, died suddenly
    early today to her borne, 767 Sixteenth
    street, of a heart attack.
    Mrs. Bradley, who was 80 years old,
    is believed to have expired in her
    sleep, she was found dead So bed
    this morning by members of her
    family. She had been activee except
    for 'occasional periods of indispisition
    and was in good spirits and
    complained of no illness last night.
    Born in St. Catharines, Ont, Mrs,
    Bradley had lived in this city more
    than 47 years. During her long residence
    here she bad been a devout
    member of the Epiphany Episcopal
    church and was a member of tbe
    Epiphany guild and other church
    organizations.
    Surviving are four daughters, Mrs.
    Arthur A. Batts and.Mrs. John W.
    Jenny, both of this city; Mrs.
    James B. Walker, of St Petersburg,
    Fla., and Mrs. Ray C. Thompson,
    of Hastmgs-on-the-Hudson, N. Y.;
    two sons, Garnard Bradley and William
    A. Bradley, both of this city;
    two sisters, Mrs. James Nlven, of
    Buffalo and Mrs. William C. Legge,
    of Toronto, Ont., and a brother.
    William Bowman, of St. Catharines.
    Plans were being made this afternon
    to hold funeral services Saturday
    afternoon at 3 o'clock in the
    home and at 3:30 o'clock in Epiphany
    Episcopal church, witb the Rev.
    David Henry Weeks officiating.
