    Jennifer H. Silver, passed suddenly at her home on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at the age of 40. Born Jennifer Holly Mary Brass on December 8, 1973 in Lewiston, NY, the daughter of Peter Glen and the late Mildred Jane (nee Stahlman) Brass.

    Jenni was a 1992 graduate of Lewiston Porter High School and attended the University of Fredonia. She enjoyed being a trained pastry chef and sharing her deserts with family and friends, volunteering for the Amherst, New York Meals on Wheels for the last several years, loved her Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream and soaking up the sun in Aruba.

    Besides her father, Jennifer is survived by her beloved husband, David F. Silver; dear sisters, Vikki (Eric) Rekito and Tracey (Patti Thornborough) Mallamaci; adored daughter-in-law of Fred and Connie (nee Falzetta) Silver; caring sister-in-law of Dena (Jake) Upton, Carolyn (Nick) Taluja and Julie (Chris Campos) Silver. Also survived by nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her cherished daughter Emily Rainey.

    The family will be present on Thursday from 3:00 - 7:30 PM at the (Amherst Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5200 Sheridan Drive (corner of Hopkins Road), where Funeral Services will be held at 7:30 PM. Rev. Bob Fink officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Buffalo, NY.

    Fred Silver of Lewiston, NY, passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2019, at his home. He was born in Creighton Mine, Ontario, on July 23, 1945, the son of the late Ronald and Muriel [Rumball] Silver.
    Fred graduated from Clarkson University with an engineering degree and his MBA. After moving to Lewiston in 1969, he started at Carborudum as a senior engineer and later became the company's president for many years.
    Fred was one of the areas finest golfers, winning the Buffalo District Golf Association championship five times and the Niagara Falls Country Club Championship 29 times, along with the Super-Senior Porter Cup in 2012. Fred was involved with the Porter Cup and helped start the Senior Porter Cup and the Women's Porter Cup. He was inducted into the Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame in 2003.
    Fred is survived by his wife of 51 years Connie [Falzetta] Silver, one son David (fiancee Meredith Phelps) Sliver, three daughters Dena (Jake) Upton, Carolyn (Nick) Taluja and Julie (Christian Campos) Silver, two brothers Ron (Joan) and Mike (Marg) Silver, a sister Dale (John Secenj) Milburn and a sister in law Leigh Silver, he is also survived by 10 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one grand daughter and a brother Tim Silver.
    A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 9:30 AM at St. Peter's Church, 620 Center Street, Lewiston, NY, following the mass, his family will be present on Friday from 3-8 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 901 Cayuga Street, LEWISTON, NY.
    Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made in his name to the Niagara Falls Boys & Girls Club, 725 17th Street, Niagara Falls, NY 14301.

    LOCKPORT — After a long, courageous battle with Huntington's Disease, Mildred J. Brass, age 66, of Lewiston, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2013 in Niagara Hospice House in Lockport.

    Milly was born June 27, 1947 in Niagara Falls, NY to the late Mahlon and the late Madeline (Showden) Stahlman. She graduated from Lewiston-Porter High School in 1965 and worked at various businesses, including the New York Telephone Company, Frontier Lanes, The Barton House and Advanced Environmental Services, where she was office manager. Milly and her husband, Peter, also operated a bed-and-breakfast, The Mill Glenn Inn, on Pletcher Road. Milly loved welcoming guests into their home with an abundance of baked goods and fresh flowers. She was very proud to have their home designated a Lewiston Historic Preservation Commission Landmark in 1994.

    Milly was an active member of the Lewiston Garden Club and Immaculate Conception RC Church in Ransomville for many years. She had been very active in Lew-Port School activities, Music Boosters, and the PDI Program, as well as volunteering with the Niagara Pioneer Soccer League. Milly had a great sense of humor, loved visiting with people and was kind to everyone she met.

    Milly was the loving wife of Peter Brass and the devoted mother of Sundi Brass of Ewa Beach, HI, Vikki (Eric) Rekito of North Tonawanda, Tracey Mallamaci (Patricia Thornborough) of North Canton, OH, and Jennifer (David) Silver of Williamsville, NY. She was also the adoring grandmother of the late Emily, as well as Kevin, Kristopher, Eric, Shae, Sam, Annie, Andrew and Stuart. She was the caring sister of Mahlon Paul (Marie) Stahlman of Rochester, NY and the late Barbara (Paul) Gosney. Milly was loved by countless nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

    Milly's family would like to sincerely thank the dedicated staff and volunteers at Niagara Hospice House, who provided such wonderful care.

    Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Streets, Lewiston, on Tuesday, December 10, from 4-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 11, at 10:00 AM in Immaculate Conception RC Church, 4671 Townline Rd. (Rte. 429) Ransomville, with the Rev. James Bastian officiating. (Please assemble at church.) Interment will be private in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Buffalo.     NIAGARA FALLS - Mr. and Mrs. Maurice
    Brass will be renewing their 50-year-old wedding
    vows this afternoon in a special Folk Mass at St.
    Charles Church. Miss Isabelle Moore, Kenmore,
    N.Y., will attend the ceremony and assist in the
    blessing of the rings'. The readings during the
    service were.chosen by the couple's children.
    The festivities for the pair, who reside at 185 60th
    St., began on Saturday night with a dinner for the
    immediate family at the Boathouse Restaurant.
    After the mass this afternoon, the couple will-be
    honored at a tea held at Frontier Lanes.
    Attending the weekend's events will be most of
    the couples' 27 grandchildren and five great
    grandchildren.
    The couple's children are James Brass,
